No, no, no. There are certain guitars that you don't want to see smashed. For example The SB Jaguar, LPB Comp Mustang and the Vandalism Strat. Seeing the Vandalism Strat go from semi-OK shape in things such as The Year Punk Broke, to more dings and tape is kind of heart breaking. The build up to this and the way the are messing with the tuning especially Krist at 0:56 is when it starts, I realize it’s a chaotic song but then it’s also very calming as well. This is not random at all; it is improvisational genius exactly like Miles Davis. And that is why it sounds so good. Different performances of Endless Nameless are night and day from each other, some are 3 minutes, some are 10-15 minutes. Kurt was a perfectionist about his performances. The rest of his life was pretty chaotic, which sort of balanced out his lifelong love affair with the live music he performed with Nirvana.
