Right before that, you can see where they had a mishap where Kurt and Krist went into the quiet part but Dave kept banging out the loud verse. Seems like they had to improvise to get back in sync so they were probably looking for a signal or something to go into the chorus after that.

+acidspit stormchild one thing I've noticed from Nirvana's live performances is that Kurt is very calculated when it comes to mishaps, as you notice a few every so often with their performances. There are very few musicians that can call on this ability in such a keen way. It is as if he is prepared for every scenario and I must say it is quite impressive.

No, no, no. There are certain guitars that you don't want to see smashed. For example The SB Jaguar, LPB Comp Mustang and the Vandalism Strat. It's bittersweet to see that it's been restored to playable condition, but meh.

The build up to this and the way the are messing with the tuning especially Krist at 0:56 is when it starts, I realize it’s a chaotic song but then it’s also very calming as well. Then Dave’s Drummond at 2:52 is INSANE ( and yes I know this has already been said but it needs to be said again). To me this is the best version you will get, and honestly I think hardcore Nirvana fans get this because it’s the high intensity, screaming, destruction, and everything you’d love whatever that’s my .2 cents

This is not random at all; it is improvisational genius exactly like Miles Davis. And that is why it sounds so good. Different performances of Endless Nameless are night and day from each other, some are 3 minutes, some are 10-15 minutes. Kurt was a perfectionist about his performances. The rest of his life was pretty chaotic, which sort of balanced out his lifelong love affair with the live music he performed with Nirvana.

I loved this song in high school. It made me think of my mother.

Kurt Cobain had such great stage presence. his anger and energy was entertaining to watch. Krist and Dave added a great sound to Kurt's voice. they were successful because they did what they wanted when they performed. they seemed to have fun performing

I love ❤️ how they just go crazy and destroy everything at the end. My favorite band ever! Song is very underrated also.. #NIRVANAFOREVER
