remember Kurt's words: "I'd rather burnout than to fade away" He lived by his words, and nowadays he's still remembered as all good rock legends :)

Nirvana had the talent to write something so simple and make it sound so catchy. That's why I still like them after all the different music changes I went through.

Kurt had a great sense of humour, sharp wit and sarcasm. Titles like Negative Creep and I Hate Myself And Want To Die just express his humour perfectly, filling his stereotype the way people think, and shoving it down your throat regardless.We don't get that from artists anymore. Miss ya man.

First band I ever saw live (in Toronto) and I will never forget it. For those that bitch that his music is simple or that he was not talented all I can say is if you want a guitar virtuoso go listen to Van Halen, if you want music that is dripping with emotion (the way art should be) you have come to the right place. Also, this is from the boxset but origionally it was from The Beavis and Butthead Experience compilation that came in 93. Chilli Peppers do a Stooges cover that is pretty decent.

Amen! I often wonder what other amazing music Kurt would have produced if he were still alive! NIrvana is just one of those bands that you can never get enough of and Kurt's dead is just one of those mysteries that you wonder why but it is what it is. Take care!

They were playing this on the radio for days. Not sure how many station were playing it but, I do know that Z-Rock was playing this in the early 90's. As well as, every other Nirvana song ever made. And, I thank them deeply for it.

David Farmer Oh I am sorry, you should find something you really like that can stimulate your inner life some more. It's sad to wrap yourself up when there is always still lots to see. Don't let it consume yourself, but don't fight the feeling either, just let it be and make some steps towards a happy mind, once you find something it can change very quickly

Pretty powerful title even it was meant as a joke. Yes Cobain was on heavy drugs, however he did have stomach pain. He claimed that it hurt when he ate anything. Using heroin to cure physical pain is not the answer, considering I can relate to it.

uggggg who else thinks Kurt was murdered?
@Baku69895
@Baku69895 8 жыл бұрын
No. It's a possibility and I do question how he shot himself with that gun, but he certainly fit the life of a suicidal person. He was abused by women his entire life, guilt tripped into hating himself by feminists, disowned by his father, and did hard drugs. You can't really be a more perfect candidate for suicide.
@Dana21283

+Allmywhat I agree its a possibility that he was murdered. Whether murdered or not, no one really knows what happened. rip a legend
@dianamanolova4431
@dianamanolova4431 7 жыл бұрын
He WAS murdered. There is no way you can shoot yourself without leaving any fingerprints on the shotgun. It's just impossible, people. Furthermore, he had bought tickets and planned to leave, and suddenly he is dead?! People just refuse to believe and see the truth but one day he will receive justice, cause we can't have him back, but at least he deserves to be vindicated. the police and the medical examiner have no forensic evidence that prooves Kurt Cobain's death was suicide. On the other hand, there is a substantial amount of evidence for murder.

Great stuff, Nirvana live on. Although I've outlived Nirvana, but even though I'm 76 years old I would still love to do what Nirvana did without getting depressed about it. Its a shame I can't walk properly these days or I would of grabbed my guitar found a venue and bashed out a few tunes without a care for the impending nightmare (of old age).

I grew up 20 min. south of Seattle in the 90's. When I was 18 Kurts Aunt came and spoke to my Health class at Decatur H.S. about his life and death. I know of the conspiracies surrounding his death, and I don't claim allegiance to any idea's about it other than he died and it was a tragedy. What I remember from the lecture the most is the 14 year old picture of Kurt which was a before/after drugs pic. He started with marijuana, ended up at heroin - think about it ... children, you are loved.

He did indeed OD in Rome- I remember that Friday like it was yesterday- I was 14 ,and I remember running home from work after school that night,to hurringly check MTV news on him.Next month,I was in France on a school tour,and we heard he was dead. I was fucking devestated. Then,over the weeks all the reports of Rome being a suicide attempt came out-and thats covered in that Heavier than Heaven book,too. When I listen to him today I wonder what amazing music he'd make,had he lived on.

@MrK9nny Not having that!! Your totally right about what Noel said, but he wasnt having a go. He was just pointing out that in Britain there was a generation of kids that wanted the kinda songs Oasis wrote, like 'live forever!' Noel's actually a massive Nirvana fan. He used to cover Hey Hey My My alot and dedicated it to Kurt on occasion. Thats the Neil Young song Kurt took the line 'Its better to burn out than to fade away' from. /watch?v=pgfgKfGwnjA I love all the little stories in music!

@lonewolf0281 and obviously nirvana is huge band of early 1990s. because we knew nirvana at that time but we don't knew other bands much from seattle. well some of them is just popular at that time. at that time we usually listen to helloween(still legend band) and sepultura. and the song 'rising force' is the 101 course for guitarist. though we knew nirvana from seattle. and we called that style hybrid type of hardrock. this is true story.
