When I was 13 years old I had the album ''Incesticide'' before I had "Nevermind" and I'll never forget playing it in my Dad's Garage on his Stereo, when the next door neighbor girl (who was 12) walked passed and yelled: "That music sucks!" WHILE she was wearing a Nirvana Unplugged T-shirt. I laughed at her and I'm almost positive Kurt would have laughed about that too.

@nathaninostroza7655 Жыл бұрын
He, after all these years of distance from this album due to becoming a hard rock/metalhead, is the one who shines the most, musically, it's ridiculously good as if he's toying with the notes he use to comp on this, on man who sold the world, etc, it was his night musically. Now Kurt, if u ask me, was doing sorcery on this, since You can't be that simple of a performer while sounding so legendary, as if he's toying too.

Bro what a thing to say to call Krist the best bass player ever (while also not even spelling his name correctly?). Even he wouldn't put himself on a top 50 list. Probably not even top 100. But the dude vibed with Kurt better than anyone, as else as just being an all-around good guy. On a technical level Krist was highly replaceable. But on a personal level he was core to Nirvana.

"as defense I'm neutered and spayed" (nothing he could do about it because:) "I love myself better than you, I know its wrong, so what should I do"... Love how Dave goes one octave lower with his harmony vocal. Wish the cello was audible
@ettoremacca29275 жыл бұрын
If it's an octave lower it isn't harmony
@uphillracer5 жыл бұрын
Ettore Maccà yes it is. It’s an octave lower than on the record, but in relation to kurt it’s not an octave.
@TheMaxKids5 жыл бұрын
You can sing harmony and sometimes the notes can be the same. It’s called being in a band and making the music impactful.
@degrassi4204 жыл бұрын
MICHAEL it is definitely harmony

Lyrics I'll start this off without any words I got so high that I scratched till I bled I love myself better than you I know it's wrong so what should I do? The finest day that I ever had Was when I learned to cry on command I love myself better than you I know it's wrong so what should I do? I'm on a plain I can't complain I'm on a plain My mother died every night It's safe to say, don't quote me on that I love myself better than you I know it's wrong so what should I do? The black sheep got blackmailed again Forgot to put on the zip code I love myself better than you I know it's wrong so what should I do? I'm on a plain I can't complain I'm on a plain Somewhere I have heard this before In a dream my memory has stored As a defense I'm neutered and spayed What the hell am I trying to say? It is now time to make it unclear To write off lines that don't make sense I love myself better than you I know it's wrong so what should I do? And one more special message to go And then I'm done, then I can go home I love myself better than you I know it's wrong so what should I do?

The magic of this show is that it was a real gig (unlike most Unplugged shows which have several takes and stuff like that). This was one take, top to bottom, all f*ck ups included (if any). Like it should be (y).
