Kurt has known every single riff what he’s doing , creating suggesting…oh my, what a powerful instrumentals, cutting of melodic lines and transferring to transcendental music experience, in an absolute distortion that blows your mind before noticing what’s happened indeed. Unbelievable. Never heard smth sooo good!!! Ah, that “old goddess of grungy energy” ❤️ Nothing compares to it, literally nothing 🐦🔥🔥They’ve turned the wheel of rock history forever!!! In all f….. senses! Presenting the purest emotions through such an impressive “dirty grungy “ energy… “Contradiction which invaded the rock world 🌎 “ Hat off !!!

From Wikipedia, Dale Crover - drums on "Floyd the Barber", "Paper Cuts", and "Downer". Chad played the rest. Just listen to "School" played by Chad on Bleach, and then played by Dave Grohl. IMO the song comes alive with Grohl. Not to take credit from Chad, he was a good, solid drummer. Even Dave himself gave him credit in the Nirvana Hall of fame thing.
@daydreamer92ify
@daydreamer92ify 10 жыл бұрын
Fer Abra I agree but I feel like Chad was better at writing drum parts than performing them, he wasn't really a solid or consistent live drummer, but all of the stuff he did on Bleach was really cool and intricate. Not to mention him and Kurt wrote at least half of the drum stuff on Nevermind, look for the Smart Session demos with Chad on drums, those were the first versions of Nevermind songs done with Butch Vig and were the demos Nirvana sent out to major labels to land a deal. All of those cool drum fills on In Bloom? Those were Chad's parts.

Cool parts but he pissed off Kurt cuz he fucked up live a lot. Can't have a sloppy drummer w a sloppy guitar player.
