Object living in a dimension cant cross other dimensions. We assume 1d & 2d with negligence.but we can't imagine with full negligence.we can't imagine an organism with only one length living in one dimension. Infact we can't assume and imagine about 4th dimension, but higher order dimension organisms can assume the lower dimension organisms, they can't imagine or observe lower dimension organisms.

I have a suspicion in that story, since we are all in the 4th dimension, if that creature comes from another 4th dimensional world can we not defeat it with our army? Isn't that possible because we and that creature are on the same dimension? If we are a creature from the fifth dimension, we are helpless. Because that dimension is something we do not know. I just had a very interesting thought: Any 1D material (like string or thread) that you can think of has a negligible 2nd dimension (Negligible yet quantifiable) and any 2D (paper sheet) object you can think of has a negligible 3rd dimension. So logically, doesn't all the 3D objects including ourselves has a 4th dimension? Moreover, shouldn't this be a conclusive proof of existence for the 4th dimension?

Not really, a string or a thread or a paper are not 1D or 2D objects, they are all 3D objects. In other words no real 1D object will have height or breadth, not even a negligible one. It's just hard for us to imagine, that's all.

But we live in a world where we are bound by three dimensions. No matter how small it is, everything that we observe has three spatial coordinates even if it is a strand of hair, a dust particle or even a nuclear matter such as proton. Only in theoretical terms and sci-fi movies can we discuss a spatial 4th dimension, but in real life we can't provide a proof of it's existence.
