Hi, great video. Does the system work by giving a constant vacuum to the actuator until you accelerate then the solenoid cuts the vacuum and closes the waste gate? Meaning off the car the solenoid should be open and able to blow in the top port out out of the bottom port Thanks

Really enjoyed this video. I do something similar, I just apply -800mBar with the mityvac and road test to see if it 'boosts'

When viewing the PWM signal for the charge pressure transducer, you changed to frequency. I've tried frequency graphing for solenoid control and for newer Mass air flow sensors but other than seeing obvious glitches/drop-outs, I don’t get much joy from that type of graphing. How do find using frequency and what do you look out for?

Just makes it easier to see changes in the frequency or duty cycle. That's all I use it for.

Them nissan Qashqai are a heap of trouble staying clear .Renault engine of course.rubbish.
