Just got rid of my 2011 Qashqai j10 model. Had it for 13 years and it turned me into a pretty good diy mechanic as it was always breaking down, things going wrong etc. last problem with it was blocked injectors that I took apart and cleaned and got working again. But then the egr clogged up and after I cleaned that, I decided enough was enough. So I sold it and was glad to see it go. Would not recommend Qashqai to my worst enemy. Oh and that boost pipe is a regular fail on these engines. Plastic pipe that cracks from engine heat and vibration, usually every two years.

Had 1 of these before with same fault codes mate. Cleaned that pipe which was clogged stupid and dpf BUT problem still existed. Tried other sensors and turned out to be the boost pressure solenoid valve which was faulty causing dpf to show as clogging up. Replaced and took a run and all ok. Car now has 150k miles and running ok. These 1.5 engines are a very good engine if looked after properly

Is it worth smoke testing through the oil dipstick too? so that it can check the crankcase ?

Hi i had a dpf cleaned on my qashqai because they said it wouldn't regen im just wondering if the values need resetting after the clean as i get a p1544 exahaust temp sensor code and how is that done done.nissan j10 cheers 👍
