People don't realize that year HD F-150 edition was literally a fancy version of crew cab version of the Single Cab Lighting. Same engine, same drive train. Raced on in my KC 2006 2wd Titan and outcome was the same, HD F-150 had the top end and Titan had to lower grunt. You can still pick one up for under $15k for a good example. Been a Titan owner since 2006, and only until now, people realizing it's the most underrated truck ever produced.

The HD only came with 340hp. The lightning came with 360hp in 99-00 while the 01-04 came with 380hp.

I have this same Ford f150. The driver of the HD is just toyin with the Nissan. The only truck that can beat HD, is a Ford Lightning and Ram srt 10. I have raced all kind of trucks. Believe or not i raced a Srt 10 on freeway and i was on his back bumper the whole way. This f150 harley davidsons are so fast for being a heavy trucks. Madd props!!

No toying around in this video. We tried our hardest. I did spin on a few runs, but they were all done with 100% intentions. Not taking anything away from the HD's because they are fast trucks, I actually still want one as well. I say go with Uprev if your up for spending the 150 more. I had SC Cortex and I like it a lot. Sold it and got Uprev and I love it. Plus you can manage your own numbers and data log anytime in case you add more mods and want to see how its performing.

Toys with the Nissan? I trapped him on the majority of the runs and some he got me from a rolling start. By the time he was catching up we we're already hitting about 85 mph +. Why would it be necessary to keep going more when a turn is up ahead? You need time to slow down & brake going at those types of speed. At the end, I got him from the snap point blank. Just as I messed up and spun out on our 2nd complete stop, he did as well. Factors always play a roll and sometimes you lose just as he did at the end.

Andrew Garcia Very true. Everyone seems to be going off up until we stop or he passes me up. I do admit, the Ford SC does have a higher top speed and is quick too. If you Ford guys have not driven a Titan before, try it out, they are quick off the line as well. We will be making a part 2 to this video. He has recently swapped some pulley's and it is pulling a bit stronger.

titan had a few more mods and you have to remember, Ford added a supercharger yes, but they added a bigger blower pulley compared to the lightning so it'd be better for towing ( less boost to prevent knocking under load) so even if its the same emgine as a lightning, the HD only made 340hp vs the lightning's 380hp

if you add a super charger to an engine it will take out any normal truck, but it's driver and vehicle plus horsepower that will win every time, they all make good trucks but it just depends on witch truck you like and what you do to it that makes the end result.

the harley truck has a problem im guessing the intercooler pump is not working causing the iat's to run high making the ecu pull timing. I've never been in a harley crew cab but i own a modded 03 lightning. my brother owns a titan crew cab 08 i think its not in the same league. by the way them hot lapping the trucks is not great for the wounded ford, stock they heat soak which could be why sometimes the ford pulls like the nissan is standing still other times not the truck has no timing due to heat

Your right, Titan is no match for a Lightning. I've ran one before and it dusted me. My buddy did find out, as you stated, that he was low on his intercooler pump. Since this video he has swapped out his lower pulley to more lbs. so he could possibly take me out now. I've raced 2 other Harleys with working IC pumps. Check out the other vids I have.

This was 7 years ago. The Nissan is at best a 2014 (310hp-385 torque) the 150 is an 02-03(340hp-425 torque) the 5.4 has a 4 inch stroke so out of a dig for the first 60 ft the Nissan with a short stroke car motor in it might jump out a little but it won't out run it.. pretty sure they had to gear those Nissan s down just so they could tow and get 10 mpg

Nope, Ford also put in Superchargers in the F150 Harley Davidson's. In 2004 that when the square bodies came out and they were optional to purchase on the truck. Our trucks are loud that you can barely hear it on the video & plus the wind but I sure you, it's supercharged

Robledo I agree I just raced a 2018 Nissan Titan this morning lol my friend has one we did a 30 roll I have a silvarado 4.8l long tube headers tune and exhaust with cold air intake the titan was stock and he beat me near the end their really good and quick trucks

I have an 04 black lighting and I never lost to a Titian knock on wood lol ...my car is 12 years old and it hangs with all these new cars on street if they were to make one now it would be stupid fast with a 6.4 maybe 6.1 supercharged and the best part is its selling point stock 590 hp ford lighting it would walk some serious cars
