I thing you need to relax and give that nissan a bit of berries. Its a big rig and its petrol so you need to rev it high to get that power and momentum

What brackets you using on your awning?
@Australian4x4Adventures Жыл бұрын
They are the standard brackets that come with the bushwakka awning
@PeterJMagee Жыл бұрын
@@Australian4x4Adventures I noticed they are sitting at the front and right at the back as you had a rooftop tent. How have you out these on? (Sorry I’m just a noob with the base rack)
@Australian4x4Adventures Жыл бұрын
I’ve just used the standard tie down attachments and I’ve put them right at the very front and back of the rack. The bolt goes through the awning bracket and then the eyelet holds it all down and together

The issue with the 62 having it to heavy with roof top and rear set up makes the front wheels these loose traction to much so you wasnt getting the best grip for drive on the front but look at the quick release tent brackets from front runner to remove 70kgs off the roof for the hard wheeling I have had 2 of these and haven't had to much issues untill i went with to much accessories and clamping
@Australian4x4Adventures Жыл бұрын
Fully agree. Mine is more setup for touring then hard wheeling these days. That was the first weekend away with the rooftop tent so I wanted to see how it went.
@jamiewilliams7618 Жыл бұрын
@Australian4x4Adventures still did ok but to see a 70 series do it alot easier was crazy to see. This is why i have went from my 62 to a raptor as more universal with set ups but its not built to rock crawl or hard core tracks but is a weapon to have fun in sand and dirt and mud and to go fast and drift so pro and cons to them all.
@Dags470 Жыл бұрын
Both 75's were twin locked and the 62 is single, plus the rear lock disengages at 25kph, unless it has the overide switching.
@Australian4x4Adventures Жыл бұрын
@@Dags470 My 62 is twin locked as well and it has the override kit as well.

I can’t remember the name of it which is why I didn’t name it 😂. It’s at the top of the entrance to meringtons camp ground. It’s the steep track that just goes back upto the main road.
