Taking that bracket off is the key. It is a lot easier to reach the sensor, despite having to do it by feel.

Me too, scanner displayed camshaft position sensor fault. I did some research about this sensor (camshaft and crankshaft) before and found out that they are identical but hesitate to switch due to the parts that is needed to be remove. But i'm motivated now, thanks bro. Try this, before replacing new sensor.

How did you figure out it wasn't the reluctor wheel? I've got the exact same fault.

Crank and cam sensor the same so swap them over and see if error code changes\goes away. if it does you know you have a bad sensor that needs replacing.
