If you were able to run in a mix of Medium and High output, you could get out of a lot of jams with this light. I would not want to run at that 100LM level out at the LBJ Grasslands, but for so many other environments it may work okay. Overall, performance was much better than the 'Lost In The Wilderness' test with the EDC 27.

great video, i love these tests, i have the edc23 and its pretty nice for the size, I want to get the 29 for my backpack when hiking at night in case I need something bright

How do you like the 23? I haven't tested that one yet.

@@L5-SAR so far its pretty nice and bright, i tend to use the lower modes most of the time, very similar to the 29 but almost half the length, its a nice pocket carry, just needs a better pocket clip for a true deep clip

Great review again..what is your favourite nitecore edc

I try not to have 'favorites' because that is an emotional attachment. I'm still getting good use out of the P23i and SRT7i. Thank you.

The 35 is an impressive light. Mine died during a stress test evaluation. Good luck to you.
