i prefer the mh20 beam pattern for edc all round use. plus neutral tint available. My main edc is a Z'light sc62w and the mh20 has quite a bit more throw the the sc62w, which has plenty of throw for edc. The smaller well defined hotspot makes a torch less suitable for up close work IMO. I like the larger less defined spot/ corona/spill for general all round use. and I think the mh20 did this well. the sc62w outright nailed it with the best neutral tint around and larger, even smoother hotspot.

You can access turbo mode even if the light is on, no matter what bright level, by long half press of that dual stage button! 😋 the mh20 that i have from almost a year is workind verry nice! And i think i'm gonna buy the mh20gt...you can guess why! 😅greetings from Romania!

Great video man, was wondering if the mh20gt would be too big to edc in your pants pocket if u bicycle, i have a nitecore p12gt but i really like the throw on the mh20gt, when i bike i usually end up going up to 14- 40 miles so i was wondering if u think it would be too uncomfortable to edc.

Nice review as always Ben. I EDC the MH 20 which is bulky enough. Not sure I would want to clip a wider flashlight in my pocket.

I've just tested MH20GT with a good 16850 battery and it ran 2:06 hours for me which is awesome!

Go for the MH20 if you need a EDC with a smooth beam at shorter distance that fits comfortable in your pants pocket or... get the GT-version if you need a great impressive thrower searchlight light with nearly double the throw of the MH20 but I found the GT a little too big to be comfortable in my pants pocket so I carry it in my jacket.

MH27 is pretty similar, except you have red, blue, green and ultraviolet LEDS. It’s a better tactical light but if you just want blue light they are pretty much the same.

Yeah,they are pretty similar,MH27 has a longer throw,i just hope that it lights up not just in long distance but also sideways,you know,like a nice cone like 30m in front of me

Bidiga Andrei MH27 has an extra 100 meters of throw. Both the lights have the same LED and reflector so they would both have the same spill/cone. The MH27 is bigger and heavier so it has greater room for a bigger reflector and therefor better throw. I’m 100% sure the MH27 is better but it is a more expensive light.

Yes, it is thermally regulated so it will step down once it reaches a certain temperature.

Hey brother..you may want to send your mh20gt back and get a new one..I've watched 2 of your vids and in both you say yours has a kinda yellow yolk kinda look in the center...mine is pure white in the center...no yellow at all. people do get lemon flashlights..my jetbeam jet 1 mk worked on standard AS but wouldn't cut on at all with the olight 14500's..it bummed me out but it happens.

Selfbuilt's review is out, and this light is legit. Far better than the MH20 for EDC. But as far as compact-ish 18650 throwers go, I'm happy with my Convoy C8.

I love my mh20. But now I have to make another decision to buy this one too. MH 20 is absolutely my favorite flashlight in the entire world. So now I'm debating whether I want to get this one LOL most of my lighting needs is up close not too much distance however it would be great the distance light as well. Dammit now I got to spend more money LOL

+chemicallust77 yup, like 100 yards farther throw and I like that idea. What I like about the MH 20 is wide area, high lumen lighting for things like clearing rooms of threats. I wonder if the MH 20 GT has the same high lumens spill that the MH 20 has or if it's significantly less? Either way, wow, tough decision to make LOL LOL LOL.

Thrunite has TN42 1550m Farthest Throw & Olight has X7 Marauder 9000LM 3-XHP70 LED Flashlight now. So What do Nitecore flashlight have? Way too Lagging behind. Please "Nitecore" upgrade your Tm16GT to have 4-XHP 70 with 1600+m Throw range as soon as possible... That what we all Wants. Do it & Built it. Everybody knows it can be Done. (Diver Proof too)
