I got it in the mail along with a olight baton pro today that I ordered because I was irritated that the Nightcore doesn't have it power indicator which I think it should. One nice thing about the Nightcore though is it's a lot smaller and while both lights can use alternative batteries it's just a lot easier to throw into a pocket. I also like the beam better. I'm not a huge thrower light person. But both lights being the same price makes it kind of a tough choice between the two.

What would you choose instead, around the same form factor/pocket carry? Nice and to the point review by the way! I can't understand why so many reviewers need 15-20 mins to say nothing more than you do in 3.

Thank you. Quite literally one of the reasons I started doing reviews. What are you use cases? Without context I'd say the 1000lumen Pokelit AA, or perhaps the Skilhunt M150 (not sure what version they are currently on).
