I love it when there is a video comparing several Nitecore flashlights in a large place and inviting some strangers to try the flashlight and find out what their reactions and comments are about the flashlight being discussed. Whether they like it or not, at least they have tried some super bright flashlights and they will gain experience when they try them.

IMO small lights like this are highly underrated... these are the ones you're gonna use the most in the end. Would love more like these.

I personally like smaller easy to fit in the pocket lights. I work as a first responder and often times our pockets are full of latex gloves or meds and having something minimal like this would be a great addition. I’ve been watching this channel for a while now. Hopefully one day I get chosen to receive a light from you guys. I love the videos!

Aurora A3 is what you want. Size of a AA battery! 650 lumen max, USB-C rechargeable, 4 light modes plus strobe, lock-out mode, aluminum housing, water resistant and only $18. Carry it every day.

My first nitecore products were the MT2a and intelli charger I4 when i was in search of a flashlight with double A batteries 6 years ago. This opened the world of flashlight and EDC to me. And now, the MT1a Pro arrived, a smaller yet powerful version of the mt2a and mt2a pro. I hope people also in search of flashlights with double a would stumble upon this video and I'm sure they will not regret getting one. For now, I am looking for a headlamp and will be basing it from reviews of this channel.

Do you have a recommendation for a beginner. I'm comparing the MT2A and the MT1A Pro, but I cannot make a decision (yet)
@arvinbangsiel34562 ай бұрын
MT2A is an older model that only takes NI-MH/alkaline batteries with max of about 360 lumens. There is the newer MT2A Pro that can take both Two 14500 and NI-MH batteries with 1000 lumens max. I do not own an MT2A Pro but the MT2A i own is built well and I'm sure they are the same with the pro version. MT1A pro as reviewed in the video is good as an EDC. They are both pocketable and mt2a pro can be used for swlf defense becaise of longer body but If you like shorter light, choose the mt1a pro but with shorter run time. I'm sure when you get one flashlight, eventually, you'll get more😂😂 If i would choose between mt2a pro vs mt1a pro, i think i will chose mt1a pro. It is small but powerful and easily pocketed. Nitecore are battery efficient and with the replaceable battery, you can have extra non-nitecore battery with you.
@arvinbangsiel34562 ай бұрын
Flashlight also depends on where you use them. Nitecore builds great tactical lights for law enforcers, as well as for camping, outdoor or everyday carry. Usually, there is no one light that fits all circumstances. But at least you have one when you need to light an area.

@arvinbangsiel3456 Thank you very much for your well crafted response. This is helping a lot with my decision! I guess I'm going for the MT1A Pro because of the small size and powerful light. :)

I would start with the Nitecore HA11 which is probably as no-nonsense as it gets. 5-star all the way. Move up from there as required. My second choice would be the NU25UL. Nitecore has THE widest range of headlamps I know of.

Me too mam there's just something about it. It's just so powerful for something so small that you would expect it to be 5 times bigger. I hope Nitecore makes a version 2 with a forward clicky/momentary switch and 1 and 15 lumen modes. That would make this the best light ever made IMO.

To be honest, MT1A pro is very very impressive. I own weltool t1 pro V2, Wuben E6, Lumintop GT micro. Among all this, MT1A pro has great throw and great spill for practical use. I realised after owning 3 tiny throwers is that, if you want a good thrower you should get a bigger light. Small flashlight should be used for everyday use, should he carried with ease. I loved it. I own mt2a pro also, thats a great one too but little long.

Both the MT1A & MT2A should’ve included the momentary-on, forward-clicky tail-cap button switch for covert, silent operation and stealthy convenience. The lack of this feature is easily a deal breaker for me as the needless clicking sounds for both on and off every time can be intrusive & disruptive in silent environments. I own the longer of the two lights and really want the shorter variant, too, but I’m having a hard time committing to another purchase of this type. Is there any chance Nitecore will offer a similar version that includes a momentary-on feature in the near future?
