I have only ever had to raid one base. I caught a 3-man clan raiding mine. I used a method not mentioned. The sniper method. Since I was already full bush wookie, I followed them back to their base, waited till only one was there, and sniped him once he opened the gate. Waited till the two cam back, and picked them off. I only took what they raided from me, and burned the rest, crates of grenades and mines included last, in their burning barrel.

If the gate your breaking has a normal 3 or 4 dial lock and not a modded one, you can just aim for the top half of the wall because once it breaks the lock falls off anyway, so your able to just open the gate

Usually, 3 dial lock takes about 20 mins, 4dial 10 times more. You can hold f to scroll through last number. You can start from like 4000 (or 300 on 3dial) if you are feeling lucky

Just about combination guessing I cracked multiple times 3 and 4 dial codelocks (on some servers wall-damage is disabled so its the only option). In my experience 3 dial codelock is completely useless. I would use it only as last option for limited time. It is even faster to crack that codelock than gather all supplies to blast the gate. At most it takes 20 minutes for you to crack 3 dial codelock whereas 4 dial codelock can take up to 3 hours of sitting and dialling if you are not lucky. It is massive difference. Also after this I started to put codes on my 4 dials with beginning number close to 5 or 6 simply because than you can play on psychological site of the matter. If you try 1000 combinations from 9999 and from 0000 than you usually give up because you know that it will probably take lot of time. Most of the people use codes from 7000 to 9999. I don´t know why .. I cracked about 6 4 dials and all of them had code over 5000 so my tip is if you will try it start from 5000.

Yes you can, for instance you could use 1 grenade, unload a couple magazines, then finish it off with melee.

If you build a base try not to have the frame sticking threw a floor. You can kill a gate buy shooting the frame from below it. So like on a second floor building where you can see it from the first floor. If. you shoot that the entire wall comes down That is the only way since the 1 16 update it works shooting the frame.

I find cooking pots are quite rare to find. Best and very cheap method is used fireplace if it is outside or just drop all grenades on floor.

It should work just like any other wall. Make sure the server you are on doesn't have base damage turned off, by checking their discord. But as for vanilla settings, it should just work the same as any fence.

It's sort of varying I've found. 5 typically is enough, if it doesn't blow on 5, you are very close and can melee the rest. But yes it's not exact as sometimes weird things can happen like a tiny piece of terrain is blocking part of the blast. And its the same on 1.17 / 18

Yes you do, sorry if that was not clear. But the bottom frame is 2 halves, just like the outer wall was. So aim for the bottom frame, it will take much less damage to destroy, then crawl under.

The combo lock does not take 40 minutes you can avoid 100 spins and don't have to spin it like he is all slow start at a random number I usually do 5 to 8 hundred then when your dial is 5 0 0 spin the last dial 9 times so it lands on 5 0 9 then turn second dial 5 1 9 then turn 3rd dial 9 times again 5 1 8. Doing this on a 3 dial takes off 100 of the spins saving you time and doing it with a 4 dial saves 1000 spins

Barbed Wire just negates Gate Boosting completely, you either have to blow it, or Pick it since it will continuously cut you, and it's indestructable unless the walls destroyed.

Put the code lock on and it wont give me the option to select and now I'm locked inside my own base! 🫨 I've been googling and reading reddit trying to find if i can destroy the gate and i think i found my answer from you.
