Skating, skateboarding as some would say, has become way more open and accepting. I can remember getting harassed for having the wrong style board at the spot. Had to go into the bushes to retrieve mine on more then one occasion. I would hill bomb and cruise, never got true olley down. More curb walk/transfer to change levels. Kept same board for three years. Switched out hardware a couple times. Last wheels were the first set of tinies I could grab. Thought they were too slick and ate it on the big hill. Stomach down and sliding down the pavement. Always sucks when you need to recover board before you can pull it all together. Kicking home funny to keep clothes from drying to the road rash before you make it home. Felt real bad for, but was happy to have, the in-line guys when they started. You’d accept roller skates before letting a rollerblader hang out. I was gone by the time the razor and modern scooters came out. Our scooters had 2 small, spoked pneumatic wheels.

This was oddly tame for Nitro Circus stuff honestly. Which sounds crazy to say. Josh Sheehan has since done a Triple flip on MX which is absolutely inconceivable. And one of those guys did a Quad flip on BMX too. Not to mention all the cool stuff they've done like the worlds firsts and stuff.

i remember watching Travis Pastrana doing the first dirt bike back flip at x-games years ago. now theyre doing doubles and triples. love it. Carey Hart was the first to actually do a back flip in competition though

I'm 65 years old we didn't have BMX we had trails in the woods that if you missed a turn by 4 to 5mm your into trees or thorn bushes or off a drop off into the creek (water way) it was a blast an all with no helmets

Dave im 32 and Blading was huge in my group of friends, im 32 now and wonder everyday if im too old to hit the skate park, alos if mike and daz wanna keep giving you a hard time for skating take their ass to the park for the Try Channel lol would love to see them covered in pads and see the look of fear in their eyes starring down a half pipe lol

This is such a great channel! I have one bit of advice for you. Having 2+ minutes of talking before each reaction is going to limit your growth. If I want to sit down and watch KZbin, like many people I will let it autoplay (this is essentially a tv channel) and when you repeat the same advertisements for your stuff over and over at the start it makes it very hard to binge watch your videos. These days I have even started just skipping in until just before you react, just to not have to hear it. My advice would be to put the advertisement for your other channels in the middle or end to make the first few minutes of the video less repetitive.
