Wilkey wasn't paying attention, HE blew it! Why did he go back to the grid w/ a flat RR?? When he felt the tire was down he should've headed for his pit. It was only a tire change not an engine exchange, the organizers would've understood since it was during a red flag. The California Boy didn't have his head turned on.

I laughed at how much this looks like one of those marble race KZbin videos. I used to belong to a Formula Vee road race team and it was some of the most fun I've had at the track. Throw dirt into the mix and these guys must be having an absolute BLAST.

So the sanctioning organization didn't schedule enough time to wait for Wilke, no one came to Wilkie's assistance, the race was started with Wilkie a few seconds away, then the race was cut short an entire 25%, one lap. ~ A new sanctioning leadership is needed. Soon ~

Gosh..this is all new to me. A fun- looking VW Baja bug race. Want to build and race one at some point. In Oahu now trying to surf here as much as possible . Very easy to like and respect Ferdinand Porsche's VW Type 1 and 911 engineering. Bugs are such awesome surfer's cars. I have owned and driven 3 from 1966- 1970 with 1.6 and 2.0 engines. All were very good to me.

Great announcer call but should have either waited for the Wilkie one man crew, or change the tire for him. Dirt track racing will normally wait for the victems to repair, 30 more seconds, better communication with officials would have eliminated the enthusiasm we heard from your guys, but it is racing, LOVED IT ALL. GREAT STUFF. FULL SEND, NEED SOME MERCHANDISE.
