Thanks for not ruining this with the terrible music that so many folks feel they need to put on these adv vids!

Absolutely the most epic journey I’ve followed on KZbin!! Thanks so much for making this series and congrats to you and Trevor for seeing it thru. You’ll talk about this for years to come. Now I want another bike!!

The Yoders were awesome. They are practicing "Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it." Hebrew 13:1 I have watched all the MABDR series, enjoyed much!

Congratulations on completing the MABDR and for producing a great video series, detailing the route. It wasn't until you introduced yourself to the farmer, that I realized you are Ruben from Competition Accessories. I've watched lots of your weekly rides, over the past few year. I too owned a 01 ZRX1200, from 01-2016. I'm currently riding a 2014 Versey 650 and a 2019 V Strom 1000xt Adventure . I call it my poor man's GSA. I live near Philadelphia and will be using this last video for some weekend trips, this summer. Thanks again, Rich S.👍

Awesome - I have a soft spot for the Versys and will probably own one someday. The VStrom is a great bike as well. Glad you found the channel and are riding along with me!

Took one of my (2) 04 R1150GS Adventures on that run this past fall. My crash bar also cracked on the left side many moons ago due to stress fatigue. Had it welded up and has not giving me a problem and 100,000 miles since.

Yes, had mine welded up when I got back home - turned out great!

Thanks for posting all this footage. My buddy and I rode it in 2019 and it was phenomenal, but a bit of a blur. It's nice to re-live the adventure.

What a great video showing a good time all the way to NY! Glad you enjoyed Antietam, there is also gravel roads and the other historic North Bridge where troops came across to finally march to Bloody Lane. I am lucky to live nearby at the base of South Mountain so all that of that is my back yard.Then you guys had a great time on the mixed roadways going up through PA Amish country and up and down through the mountains to NY. Another super video of your completing the 1,000+ miles. Now you can do another of the ten BDRs across the US. Thank you again for sharing your ride.Be safe in your travels! Craig/MABDR

Thanks Craig! I'm really glad I recorded the trip so my buddies and I can relive the memories! Looking forward to more BDR adventures in our future!

Music by BMW Motorrad. Priceless. Thanks for sharing. Easily the most details on the route that I've seen. Well done. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. It's funny, I find myself wondering "What's going to break on my bike on the MABDR?" lol.

Much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed the videos - and I hope nothing breaks!! haha

Really enjoying your series. My daughter and I will be riding it North to South in June. I've done 7,8 and 9 a few times so I know what to expect. I live about 30 miles from the welcome to NY sign. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats on the run, looks like you guys had a lot of fun. I don't remember seeing you on the trail, but I started the BDR southbound from the NY border the same day you finished so we must've crossed paths on the south end of 9 or maybe northern 8. The PA gravel was a blast.

I would have taken my recently sold CRF250L through those expert sections, but I don't think I have the guts to try them with my R1200GS. 😅 OH NO! Another light on the dash!

Great series of videos on MABDR! Now once you get to the end, how did you get back home?

After finishing we headed south a few hours and camped out, then a really long day on backroads back to Charlotte.

Good ride! What type of GPS unit did you use and did you download map from the BDR?

I was using a Garmin Zumo 396 and yeah following the tracks from the BDR website.

Congrats to you and Trevor! Thank you for taking us on your journey. How was the ride home?
@NitroRoo3 жыл бұрын
We had a great ride home. Made it down to Bald Eagle State Park in PA the day we finished the MABDR - then just let Garmin Adventurous Routing get us from there to Fancy Gap, VA - was an AWESOME ride down to there - and then we hit the slab for a couple more hours to get home. That last day was 556 miles.

Great set of videos, thanks for sharing them, I binge watched them all as I’m planning a MABDR trip later this year so it was great info to have. At the end of the trip we’re you happy with the way the Dunlop’s performed and if you were to take another shot at it would you switch to a different tire?
@NitroRoo3 жыл бұрын
Overall yes, I'd run the Dunlops again. They ride great on road and are very long lasting. The shinko 804/805 tires I had before may have been slightly better off road but wore out faster and were noisier on road.
@40spokes993 жыл бұрын
@@NitroRoo I had a set installed at the MOA Rally and I really like them, glad to see they could handle the terrain and thanks again for the fantastic content.👍

Great video very detailed. Q did you guys runs 2 section a day and how long you ride every day. Thanks for the video great content
@NitroRoo3 жыл бұрын
Some sections are much longer than others - so some days it was two or three while others we were on one section almost all day. We rode pretty much all day and finished halfway through day 6.

@@NitroRoo cool so roughly how many miles a day you guys rode. I’m trying to planning for next year and I woul like to try to do the MABDR in 5 days

My friend and I want to do this exact ride. How many days did it take you? From the bottom of Pa to the top
