Nitrous Overview ! (Pros & Cons)

The only forced induction I have ever had was a supercharged 1995 Buick Riviera and a 2000 Ford Mustang with a huffer. Heat up the bottle with a warm bath. Gets up to temp fast then just slap in your car and let the heater maintain pressure.

i put a kit on my car about a year ago but haven’t reall got to use it because the cheapest i have found nitrous locally is 12.50 which equates to 125 for my bottle due to the nitrous shortage and yeah nitrous does not last as long as the movies make it seem maybe 3 good runs if you’re lucky

how much was the kit and to install ?

the whole kit costed me around $1.6K, Installed it at my buddies place so he only charged me $400

Can you explain the “window controller”? Is this the window of time you want to be sprayed? (I’m new to this).

Are you running one step colder plugs? And if you are, do you notice any performance lose when you aren't spraying?

I got it from Razor Edge Motorsport, but for some reason they don't have it anymore. they have different ones.

What mods do you have to install to run nitrous if I have 150,000 miles

None really if u do a small shot but full bolt ons and a better fuel system if u run dry but if u run a wet shot you should be good at a 50-75 shot anymore I’d start doing mods to support it better just to be safe and get a window switch and afr gauge if u don’t plan on doing any mods to support it so u can always stop spraying if it goes lean the switch will cut it out too prevent damage

About 2k but installation for me was $400 bec I got a good deal from my friends shop, installation normally shouldn't cost you more than $1k

The good street racers, at least when I was a kid, knew that a loud car doesn’t mean faster! In fact, I’d keep a very quite exhaust system and take the 5HP loss overall because you don’t need the police to roll their window down to simply find you! ;)
