Neil is right on point as usual. Tough loss to take because they had an open road in front of them to get to the championship game. In the end, they failed to take care of business.

Guys, realize that Allar is just horrible. He has around 50% comp vs really good teams, but over 70% against lessers. He missed Singleton on an easy flip for a TD on the 1st possession… that’s -4 pts. He missed both Warren and Evans on separate sideline plays… and missed Nik left mid when he could have had a big gain. Allar’s been in the system 3 seasons, and his footwork is still crap… and his emotional makeup is questionable - he has a cannon, but he has no swag or killer instinct. If he had half of Clifford’s attitude, we would have been unbeaten.

They did lose that game. Penn State was the better team but continues to make bonehead mistakes

And I’d love to hear some explanation about why - after holding ND to 45 yds rushing in the 1st half, they came out and started pushing the D line around in the 2nd?

Cam miller next time at least get in the receivers way. Reed next time stick your arm up and knock ball down. Not asking for a lot guys

IMHO, the WR problem is a coaching issue, not a player issue. Poor route running, quitting on plays, poor scheme and route combinations. All Season Long for at least 2 years now.

Then why is Warren always open? These WRs are just not very talented.

@ Tyler Warren is a tight end, not a Wide Receiver. He is not “always open”, he’s just big enough, strong enough, and aggressive enough to get the ball. We have now lost 5 WRs to the transfer portal. Obvious evidence that there’s a problem in the WR room, especially with most of the the rest of the offense returning.
