Instead of catching and losing your flow - master sustainability.
BOOK COACHING: shop.beacons.ai/niu.views/Ene...
SOCIAL INTERACTIONS HANDBOOK: shop.beacons.ai/niu.views/soc...
SUSTAINING FLOW = ability to guide energy dynamically in honed (balanced) ways throughout conversation. To keep others (and myself) captivated - we need stimulation.
TECHNIQUES:
1. NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION - live active breathing. Conscious breathing to release tension and come back to intention in a relaxed yet alert state.
2. MOOD SHIFTS - e.g. serious to funny, nonchalant to sincere.
3. SPEED SHIFTS - fast to slow, slow to fast.
4. FOCUS/INTIMACY SHIFTS - seamless transition to new topic OR switch focus from group to individual, individual to group.
5. GENUINE QUESTIONS - ask genuine questions so responses are genuine, giving breaks for self-regulation. Interactions also keep the attention on your topic.
6. LET OTHERS LEAD - take breaks / pauses between sentences, even mid-story.
7. CLARIFY INTENTION - take a moment to review intention before speaking to avoid repetition, over-explaining, becoming confusing / chaotic.
8. LIGHT-HEARTED VULNERABILITY - call self out in a honest yet light manner.
9. BE PRESENT - don't focus on the flow, focus on the present moment and your story.

I love the way you articulate and deliver actual strategies and tips, you’re leading by example 1111% in this video. I feel super seen and heard in the sense that my entire life, I could feel myself “de-regulating” mid convo and losing the “flow,” and I spent so much time just scrambling after, feeling super awk. The way you break everything down actually gives me language and concepts to understand exactly what is happening in those moments, & I love that you provide so many different methods to try that anyone could easily apply. I’ve truly never thought of fine tuning my communication this way, & i’m so happy you’ve broken it down & shared some of your tools and tips. As an empath in customer service, or even just being juman, it’s challenging navigating so many interactions, dynamics, stories. personalities, and staying centered and grounded in intention. I feel like your videos are helping me gain a deep confidence and awareness of how i’m presenting myself in my interactions, communication patterns, and deeper intentions when speaking with people. Moving forward I’m def going to implement more of the breathing & emotional regulation in convos, I just instinctively know it’s what we need to do. The other methods, I plan to focus on 1/wk to slowly build on all fronts. I’m so excited I have this roadmap now bc it’s going to almost “game-ify” interactions as fun skill building rather than me feeling like daily interactions w strangers is a “daunting task that i’m inevitable going to fumble somehow.” (a personal script I need to rewrite) I love how you said even sincere can sometimes be heavy. I struggle in really intimate emotional moments with friends and family, and it’s like wow I want this connection so badly and now that I feel it happening I can’t breathe? I’m def going to try moving from lighthearted to sincere in those moments, bc I’ve seen irl how helpful that can be at smoothing the vibe. every intense moment needs a little comic relief to get us by. I feel much more equipped in those intimate moments now. thank you so much for putting this together, sharing, and being such a vibe 🌸☁️🪽

Thank you for sharing your genuine thoughts and practical use of what I share. This makes me so happy and fulfilled to read. You called out many things I used to experience, things I noticed and didn’t know how to define. And yes gamify it. After all, this is a love simulation 🤔🤭🤗

I have always been really good at turning a stranger to a friend and find myself really good at creating small talk that leads to deeper connections but when it comes to my close long term friends and family I struggle w conflict/ confrontation and turning off the front. I appreciate your videos because I never knew how to practice better communication I just figured others were naturally blessed with being confrontational or confident in speaking but your videos have really improved my social interactions. Im more present and intentional with my words and actions

Loved this video! I also tend to over explain things to death and see the person's attention start to fade! I love your idea of intending what to say first. Really interested in all your thoughts around boundary setting in social interactions.

I just love your content and I’m grateful for these tips! I have always aspired to be a professional public speaker. One of the random things you said that resonated with me on a deep level was when you were explaining how you go from sincere to lighthearted and how you said “I’m always in love with you” speaking of your audience. I’ve never heard anyone say that and I often felt weird that I’ve felt that way lol like it was odd to really love every person I’m serving or speaking too. Just you saying that sorta freed in a way 🫶🏾🌟👑 Many thanks!

I just came across your channel tonight and you are everything I could have dreamed. In this video I really resonated with the struggle of over-explaining yourself in conversations. I do it so often. Your advice to clarify the intention within yourself and what you’re about to say is beautifully solid advice, but I would highly benefit and love to watch a deeper dive conversation around this. I’d love to express my point thoroughly and clearly, without serving whoever’s listening a word soup 🥣 but I think I worry that they don’t understand me, so I take my explanation way too far and end up losing them or confusing them.
