Extra added to what you said - No other way to block an Arial combo if your intrinsic meter is used up on 3 bars - Can't use a fatal blow whenever it's fully charged. The fatal blow is determined once the opponent is either in defense or in 10 second delay of a combo. Which means you have a 10% chance of saving yourself in the game - I'm sorry but Netherrealm studios needs to nerf the Upblock blocking system. Because if you get punished for an overhead, you can't defend yourself from an easy mistake - Prevent simple trips, and pokes. - Every character should have a teleport option from the corner in case you are stuck in the corner. This trick will be highly affective against Johnny Cage, Reiko, General Shao, Liu Kang, baraaka, Kenshi, and smoke or lei mei. - Remove the kameo option for both opponents.

Shang has top zoning in the game. He rewards you by learning all the characters ;because, he can change into his opponent and do more damage. He's also about to steal kameo moves for free. Some are really good like kameo Sektor's uppercut.

It's pretty much 1 factor how many kameos can a character utilize properly at high level. The fewer you can access the more problems your character has. Sub can use 1 kameo at high level. Johnny can use all of them and still be meta.

Shang's forms aren't a as much a hinderance as you are making it out to be because you can switch the forms mid string/combo/special. Heck you can switch form on startup so the character is basically 1 character with extra steps so your take on him being bad because he isn't one character is wrong lol. I get the feeling that you either havnt faced/watched a good shang or dont fully know his kit. He is mid mid tier at least

No it shouldn't be able to be jumped in on especially logically with how he's performing the move. Gameplay wise This is supposed his pressure, his way of controlling space which it can if you go against inexperienced people, but most experienced people will just outright ignore or walk away from the move. - It's too slow, and if they block it mid range you are open cause it's so negative on block . - Highly weak to armor - and jump ins in this game are very strong cause most characters can capitalize on them for full combos. - Also look at other characters Like noob he literally has everything

So I can tell that be a low tier in this game is a really good spot. Takeda, Shang and Geras can be very useables and strong in a good level depending on the player. They’re not HL, Sindel, Johnny and Kenshi level but they can be useful

I think geras is hard to use/combos are just weird- damage scaling etc and thats why he gets mixed reviews on him bein low tier or high tier. I still play him though. But i think your assessment is fair to say. I always thought the top tier characters were the ones that dont really need kameos in this game( ashrah, homelander, lui, mileena, johnny, noob, kitana, sindel, maybe there is more) honestly I just like hearing everyones perspective because it makes me re look at characters in this game. keep it up bro bro 🤙🏾🤙🏾

Switch to lao with sub. Orbit hat gives him a combo off every poke and the damage isn't bad 35 to 38% its also plus 9 on block and interrupts turn take backs. You have hard to block setups and armor break setups. Low hat helps against quan and the cooldown is great.

No he’s describing oki. Your meaty game isn’t good if you aren’t close enough to do it, and have options. Geras wasn’t close enough to grab, not close enough to do the low. His options are very limited at that range

You should fight some of these characters in KL before you make vids like this….gears can literally reverse time and get his health back non stop & also freeze you. Shang can literally copy your kameo moves, shift between 2 different versions of himself, use his own kameo, and turn into your character.😂

Reasons to play Shang huh? Challenge accepted: 1- becoming your opponent and playing their character better than them, stealing a brutal or doing a big combo 2- if u ever feel bored and don't know what character you wanna play, pick Shang because you can morph into anyone. Ill disagree until the end of time about sub. He starts the match at a disadvantage by being forced to use a cameo or meter to extrnd his combos. He has the lowest damage and hes the slowest. You can use ferra with shang or takeda to make up for the sub and khamelon argument

I might be coping cuz I only got active on MK for Takeda. I will say I am realizing how subjective tier lists are. I’m coming to the opinion Takeda is pretty alright because of tech I know that no one else talks about. I think tier lists are especially subjective in MK1 because the kameo system allows for a much more personal exploration for each character.

Scorpion definitely low tier. 1 no mixes. No, B3 is mid low, not a low low 2. Relies on 1 kameo to open up effectively. 3. All his specials are unsafe except for his teleport cancel which cost bar.
