one thing I love about this is how Sam's tone is just tired and almost not even scared. he doesn't want to die but, he doesn't get much from living either. his one purpose was to keep the evil in the prison, but he became the evil himself. with no reason to live, he doesn't fear death as much, he has nothing to lose, he holds on to the single string of belief, that he's doing the right thing. not the good thing, but the right thing, and he's not going to let go of that image

These sound effects-the doors, Sam standing up, biting the apple, footsteps-very subtly but effectively integrated. Obviously the art and editing is amazing, but the sounds really add to it.

@@Niznosleep I noticed a few of them sounded handmade (not meaning bad-just softer, less contrast), which helped them blend naturally. And that’s awesome-I know finding specific sounds can be difficult. Way to go the extra mile and adapt!

I will say this- When Dream takes off his mask, I got chills and at the same time was giddy because that is how I like to think of Dream in the DSMP. I also really liked the shading and how the mood change flowed so well! Overall, I say that this animatic, in my mindset, is one of the best I've seen! (SUBSCRIBE TO NisNoSleep!!!!!) [I'm doin' it!]

Man, Dream is so creepy. I felt like the whole time he was still deciding, until the end. Exquisite job, I love how you animate. Beautiful environment, I loved the little Dream hop over the carved stone counter. Good lighting, subtle music. I really like how you animate Sam. The movement and facial expressions, the tattered cloak.... This is good. This is really good.

The thing that unnerves me the most is how Sam has gone throught so much mental damage to the point where he didn't care or wasn't able to react to Dream killing him, the one thing he swore to secure for others safety, in the one place he designed for that person, everything and everyone went against him

I really love the personality in this… despite the fact that Dream’s face is completely blank and hidden by his mask, you can still feel his sort of sadistic charisma by the way he walks and moves his hands/head… this is part of the reasons why I love watching animations for the lore and you really did an exceptional job

The added music really added to the mood of the scene and I liked the compositions. (Favorite ones were at 2:08, 2:48, and 4:22.) The scars on Dream's hands were a cool detail as Dream glitching when he sweawrs, but I really loved the glowing smoke from Sam's mask at 2:45. The lighting in this in general is wonderful, really kicking off near the ending post 3:59. I liked how you hinted at a face underneath by outlining Dream's chin, but man, the underneath is terrifying. Great job on the animatic!
