Good video, I came up to the same limited studies upon my search. Also the same conclusion as its cheap and falls under the why not category, plus even if you don´t have excessive or visual signs that you need it, in some studies the related the MPB to some micros. The question tho remains, how to use it ! The frequency suggested on the bottle is for treatment of fungus and other infections as mentioned. It also says it should be used at that frequency in the beginning and for a limited time only. (the frequency should drop to once a week after the treatment if my memory serves) Thus if you have any input on how often to use it, that would be really helpful! .

@Orlanzepol1232 ай бұрын
Unfortunately I don’t know my hair porosity or scalp type. However, my scalp itches like crazy . I’m not sure if the Nizoral 2% is controlling my itch because I also use a mint and rosemary oil on my scalp daily for hair growth. I think it helps with my itchy scalp. I use the oil twice a day. But I believe the shampoo has stopped the shedding.. I use the shampoo twice and sometimes 3 times a week. I condition it with a Nizoral conditioner which has tea tree oil. Nizoral also has a pre shampoo to clarify your scalp prior to using the medicated Nizoral . Any clarifying shampoo is good before using Nizoral shampoo. You have to try and see if it works for you. I am anxious to see how my hair will look a year from now . Even if it only stops my hair from thinning more I will be happy. But I should see a dermatologist for my itchy scalp.

Is there a difference between 2% ketoconazole and 1% with 2X amount of ketoconazole ?
@jh9992 Жыл бұрын
I've been using Nizoral 1% for about 10 years now as directed. In order to make sure the shampoo is soaking in my scalp for 10 minutes, I apply the Nizoral outside the shower on my head with a little water and massage it in. I can't say whether Nizoral has resulted in hair regrowth alone but I can say it has helped keeping what I currently have and thickens up my hair for more volume. I've never tried the 2% as I just don't want to go through the hassle of continually getting a prescription. But this needs to be paired with the 5% minoxidil foam. The foam IMO works the best and is most effective. It does cost a lot more than the non-foam version but I find the best deal to be at Costco. I feel like this has been the only solution that works for me for the last 10 plus years but I am aware once I stop both, I may have accelerated hair loss.

This is the one that works for everyone with all conditions. It is a multipeptide collagen and keratin treatment with growth factors. Skinlyte has a soap that is loaded not only with collagen but also keratin peptides. It is called Hair & Whole Body Bar. According to what I read on Amazon, it is fast absorbed because it has an enhanced peptide binding enhancement technology which produces water molecules in a condensation reaction that hydrates skin and hair naturally. It repairs, grows hair, naturally moisturizes, rebuilds and strengthens hair and skin. I got it at Amazon and I am impressed with new benefits I discover every time I use it. I noticed many improvements in my hair, skin and nails. What I like best about it is that it's all natural and without harmful chemicals such as synthetic dyes, fragrance, SLS or preservatives.

i dont waste Nizoral durring the hair wash but waterdown few grams in water and use it as topical for 30 min and the i wash with some other shampoo . This way i save money from every drop of nizoral and get the maximum of it in terms of time on the scalp.

How can it make it worse?

Excellent advice. Unfortunately, I overdid the treatment, using 5% Nizoral instead of 2% and using it daily instead 1 to 4 times per week. After a couple months of this regimen I suffered significant hair LOSS not gain.. I discontinued the Nizoral and slowly recovered.

I'm surprised they even sell 5%. I guess that's for people with severe skin infections.

I have inflammation on my scalb and itchiness all over my head and also dandruff also on some days when i move my hair my hairroots hurt in certain areas, my father and brother also have dandruff when they had hairloss. I am losing my hair extremely fast and i wanted to ask if anybody had these symptoms that i have and did the nizoral shampoo help you to regulate the scalp inflammation and to slow down the intensity of your hair loss ? I am also planning in changing my diet because i was also eating a lot of junk food. But i would ne very thankful if anybody would answer 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Rob, what was the antimicrobial regimen used to generate those very nice results?
@ДаДа-п8о Жыл бұрын
I used it daily for two weeks . Within two weeks my head felt less itchy , thus zi started seeing baby hair coming back and I feel my head far cleaner than used to be . I used far more expensive shampoos and I think they made my issue worse .

Hey I watched this video months ago and it made me buy nizoral and yes it worked my scalp condition was going away and Before that I am not sure why but my scalp would itch and really be inflamed when I would sweat or go outside in the sun sometimes it would be very bad where it seemed like I was bleeding because the itching was just intense but it was just really red but after this shampoo and conditioner it worked however the itching came back and it seems like nizoral is no longer working for me the itching is not as bad as it used to be it’s mild however it isn’t going away like it used to and before all of this my scalp would never itch like this until march of this year
