One of the best racing simulators available to date, and the best Forza Motorsport game ever. The Autovista is very enjoyable, and Jeremy Clarkson's narration is top notch. The events are challenging and well balanced, the freedom you have when it comes to your choice of vehicles and customization is truly what makes the core of this game so strong. The vehicle list is fantastic and very diverse, iconic automobiles everywhere. Truly a game that I still appreciate and enjoy today, hopefully it will be made backwards compatible with the Xbox Series X.

I've haven't played any of the Forza games (barring FM1 since I bought that 3 weeks ago) nor any GT games past 5, but I've played GT5 a long time ago and I didn't like it. The progression system was and is still sluggish and awful. Who at Polyphony thought including another means of restriction - the driver xp level - was a good idea? That feature does nothing but add unnecessary grinding to an already lengthy game. Looking back, GT5 was a sign of bad things to come. If you've been in touch with the buzz surrounding GT7, then you may know that GT7 is online-only, which is already a huge red flag that'll put off many players. So what if the gameplay is great and the graphics are top notch? That won't matter when it's an online-only game that has a limited shelf life because the servers will inevitably go down someday.
