Ace, Claude Lemieux is my all time favorite Devil. He definitely belongs in the Ring of Honor if not the rafters. It would be a rollercoaster of emotion if Casey and Stillman get on that plane.

When Im rolling with my Red Jersey, it is ny 1995 Cup Champion Pepe jersey. First game ever went to Claude scored two goals and Dano had 2 fights (3 but they broke the 2nd up early and gave him a rough) So obviously, Claude and Dano are my guys for Life. So is Mike Peluso.

Apparently, it's all about the dollar amount for that Mercer contract, as expected. I think it will get worked out pretty soon because both sides want him in the lineup but NJ doesn't have a ton of money to throw his way, so there has to be some give on his part (and let's face it, it's mostly his agent doing the negotiation and he's going to aim high). I'm not going to sweat it but I definitely hope he gets on the ice asap.

Mercer is signed. Claude was the man! My first game ever, Pepe had 2 goals and Dano had 2 fights. It was a banger. Still rock my offical red 95 Cup Champion Lemiuex jersey! FuN FACT - Claude is currently Timo Mier's agent! He currently has 29 NHL contracted players he represents. ALso, another great NJ Devil #22 was the man who wore it after Claude, the great Peter Zezel.

Glad to see they finally put Timo Mier on the RIGHT side! To be honest, if Nemec and Hughes are unable to play, I would much rather see MacDermid and Kovosevich with a permanent roster spot. If you have a tough enforcer in the line every game, that'll help protect your star players. Yeah I agree....they gotta put Jeremy Broduer in net for at least 1 game...I would love to see another Broduer in the net...would be good foreshadowing.

@jamesvalenti9288 Timo should be glued to the right. AND on PP1. Hatakka is a near guarantee to replace Luke IMO. Kovacevic and DeSimone should be the front runners to replace Nemec if he misses time. But there are some darkhorses that will be gunning for that spot as well, including Seamus Casey. I really hope Jeremy Brodeur gets a start in one of those final preseason games. LET'S GO DEVILS!!!

@Surl9596 I think he is a crucial piece to the team, specifically the Top 6. If this drags on, someone has to stand up. This could be a chance for Stillman to crack the big club, or perhaps someone else.

All of you losers are quick to point out his point drop from last season, but you never talk about how much of a workhorse he is and how many times he gets pulled away from top 6 minutes. Not because he isn't playing well enough, but they can trust him to fill 3rd and 4th line positions. This kid excels at every spot he gets thrown at. That is why you've seen in play all 4 lines plus penalty kill and powerplay. Grow the F up.
