Personally, Maneskin is the only music I've been listening to the last couple of weeks! Keep on coming back though 😃 I totally recommend for next reactions "La paura del buio" a live performance and also live performance of a cover they've done called "Amandotti". I fell in love with this band belatedly, because I heard their music in April/May 2022. In June 2022, my husband and I were on vacation in Porto di Brenzone. Going on vacation, I laughed to my husband, saying that we would definitely hear a lot of Maneskin musik there! And so we did. Our first bike trip to Malcesine, a quick shopping trip and in the store we hear Maneskin! The first song we heard upon entering! Awesome!

Hello bro thanx for this second reaction. Other fans will give you the info that you asked, let me stress an important expect of their rise. This 4 (now aged 20-20-21-22) guys come from the street of Rome, and entered the Italian X factor in 2017 when they were very young, placing second. After their first album (I am sure you will react to TORNA A CASA sooner or later) they won Sanremo festival which is the most important song contest in Italy. And it was incredible because of the rock song (zitti e buoni, shut up and behave) which contains some swear words inside, despite Sanremo is followed from people of every age. That is why they gained the right to participate to the European SC. In these difficult times of Pandemia, they represented Italy in front of the whole world, and won with a rock song, an Italian rock song and people from all the world found out their fantastic second album exited after Sanremo. For all Italians , Maneskin is the Italian pride. That is why you will get thousands of views for any reactions. We want to share the rebirth of Italian music, we are proud of this 4 fantastic guys, who hate drugs and have a pure heart, in front of the whole world. So please do more reactions! Some recommendations sorry: if you react to the ballads (TORNA A CASA, vent’anni, and especially CORALINE) do it with English translated lyrics it is essential to appreciate better their poetry. You will find other fantastic rock songs like FOR YOUR LOVE, LIVIDI SUI GOMITI, PAURA DEL BUIO, where maybe lyrics are not needed. So thanx again and have fun enjoying their wide music proposal bro. Grandi ragazzi, L’Italia è fiera di voi

Måneskin came in second place at the X Factor contest (in 2017) and they were the opening band at the Imagine Dragons concert in Milan in 2018. The band's members are declared fans of Lez Zeppelin (especially the guitarist) and British Glam rock. Although Italy has always had very good rock bands (especially in the 70's : Premiata Forneria Marconi, New Trolls) this is the best moment for international multilingual rock. If you want to check some good italian rock, punk, alternative bands try to listen to: Afterhours, Marlene Kuntz, Zen Circus, Io&Drama, Verdena, Lacuna Coil, Linea 77, Punkreas, CCCP, Litfiba, Il teatro degli orrori. If you manage to, always try to check for the lyrics, they're very important in our music and the italian language is perfect for poetry. The last years have been dominated by trap and rap music, but as Damiano said: Rock and Roll never dies! ;) Ciao!

I liked your reaction a lot for sure. This band is from Rome. Very young, they reach 82 years in 4. Performing in the streets of Rome at their beginning as buskers. They also sing in English and you can find videos on KZbin with English subtitles for the Italian lyrics. Their last album is called Teatro d'ira. Each and every song in there is more beautiful than the other. As you keep saying they are 'on another level.' There is simply no choice: you have just simply to react to them all without any exception. Very high quality performance ever. Fore more soft and intimate songs you can check out Coraline, Torna a casa, Vent'anni... - for these you have to pay attention to their lyrics, it's pure poetry, need interpretation. For more rocky ones In nome del padre, Lividi sui gomiti and many others. Hope to see you soon. Liked and subscribed already, don't let me down.

OK, I did subscribe! Sooo, Maneskin are a band from Rome, 20,21,21,22 years old. They started as buskers, in 2017, when they were only 16,17,17,18 participated to XFactor Italy ending up 2nd. (YT is full of their XF performances singing covers and executing fancy coreographies). XF marks their first EP, 5 covers + their original song "Chosen". Since then they have been writing and exploring music together while touring throughout Italy, publishing a concept album in 2018. In 2021 they won Sanremo Festival and Eurovision song Contest. Their album Teatro d'ira Vol.1 was pubished on March 2021, 8 tracks each different from the other, but all equally very interesting full of rock sonority. 2 songs in english the rest in Italian. My suggestion is you listen to this album all songs are available on YT, some lyrics might be a bit juvenile but other are really good. I especially recomend you check lyrics for Vent'anni and Coraline which is about a real story withour happy ending and on another level. During XF these guys amused me but didn't think a lot of them musicwise: I am born in the sixties and as a rock lover I have seen so many amenities from rockers that high heels and striptease are not shaking me but this new album, I literally can't stop listening to it, its sonorities reminds me so much the old big bands with a modern twist. I really hope you will enjoy it!!! :D

To be short , it’s a song about feeling different , but having a pride in being different from the mass , the main part of the song says “I’m out of my mind but I’m different from them , and you are out of your mind but you are different ( diversa , feminine so referred to a woman ) from them , and we are out of our minds but different from them . Then in there is a part in the song, in the second part where he says “ they talk , people unfortunately talk , they don’t know ( or they don’t know what the fuck they are talking about ) what they are talking about , you take me where I can float that here I’m gasping for air . It’s a song about gossipy , that people talk without even knowing what they are talking about about , about daring to be different , and being proud of it . The rapping part is amazing but it’s so hard to sing even for an Italian lol . He defiantly has skills .

IMHO Italy is traditionally dominated by melodic ballads. In the 60s the first rock bands appeared, but were mainly cover bands. Later there were some "rock waves". For example in the 70s Italy hatched one of the most prolific schools of progressive-rock. In the 90s Italy's rock scene boomed too. Some singers and bands between 70s and 2010s: 70s - "Premiata Forneria Marconi", "Area", "Banco del Mutuo Soccorso" (Bands - progressive rock). A song: "Impressioni di settembre" by Premiata Forneria Marconi . 80s - "CCCP" (punk rock band) (after some years they mutated into the group "C.S.I" - Maneskin played a cover of CCCP - "Amandoti" ). Decibel, Diaframma (Bands) 90s - Marlene Kuntz Afterhours, Litfiba, Bluvertigo, Timoria (Bands - post-rock, Indie rock, etc..). Luciano Ligabue, Vasco Rossi, Gianna Nannini, Gianluca Grignani (singers - pop rock). A couple of songs: "Nuotando nell'aria" by Marlene Kuntz. "Senza parole" by Vasco Rossi. 2000s and 2010s - Subsonica, Negrita, Verdena (Bands). A song: "Nuova Ossessione" by Subsonica
