Those people must be treating them badly lol. Me and 2 of my friends have scufs and have had no problems for over a year. A few months ago, my paddles were wearing out so I messaged Scuf and they sent me a new pair of paddles for free (well outside the warranty date).

For this I would recommend the StrikePack F.P.S Dominator. It is a piece of gaming equipment that goes on the back of your existing Ps4 or XB1 controller it is durable and cheap! It comes in at 40 USD and has 2 remap able paddles and a mod pack (turns your controller into a modded one). There is 2 modes, tournament mode and mod mode. In simple words the tournament mode just allows the use of paddles and not mods. Mod mode allows paddles and mods to be used at any time! Gruffyy I've actually had one of these for about 6 months; let me just say that it's really good at the beginning, but then the paddles get worn out fast and you press it down by accident a lot. Also mine always shuts off my controller constantly and can cause me troubles

I'm excited for the impact controller. Just bought one. Mine is all black with the military grip and the magnetic remapping. I hope the paddles don't break like my old scuff controller. I had to replace them 4 times and finally I just gave up and stop using it.

If you grip the scuf impact fully in your palm and use the joysticks do your thumbs collide? I have large hands and long fingers and thumbs. The offset joysticks on the xbox controller help with this but I'm looking for a replacement controller for my ps4 that solves this.

What about the weight of the controller (scuf impact)? You have the possibility to choose "rumbles in" or "rumbles out" and I'm not to sure which one to take because it does make a difference in weight. Do you have any recommendations? Would be really glad to get an answer :)

how is the build quality? I noticed when I switched to ps4 from xbox that the controller buttons (especially the triggers) all wiggled around and felt like crap compared to the xbox controller's solid feel and i'm looking for a ps4 controller that fixes this.

Normal ps4 controllers often make my hands hurt/cramp after playing for more than 30 mins or so because the controller is so small. Is the scuf impact much wider/longer than the standard ps4 controller?

I have yet to meet anyone who bought a Scuff and got a year out of it before at least one button failed. That's unforgivable for a controller so obnoxiously expensive. It's just a matter of time before Sony releases its own elite controller like they did with their new Platinum headphones, and their controller price point, build quality and reliability will be just as awesome as their current controllers. I really hope the new Scuf designs prove to be more reliable, because if it wasn't Scuff's awful reputation for build quality, I would've bought one right away, because I freaking love how interchangeable and adjustable everything is on a Scuf, and I completely freaking love Scuf's under paddle design.

I am trying to decide between the infinity pro and the impact. the internal debate is on the one hand do I play any games that I would want or need 4 paddles to remap buttons, and on the other hand the idea of I would rather have 4 paddles and not need 2 of them, then have 2 and discover I want or need 4.... can you please help me decide?

I gave the mod pack thing a try and discovered that not only did I not use the paddles, but they ended up annoying me. I got it so I could try things out before investing in scuf or something similar, but for the life of me, I can't use the thing. I don't know if it is that I only play destiny and am stuck with how I play and use the control, but it didn't help me in any way. In a way I am glad because the money I would have spent on a scuf or something else went into buying Destiny 2 on PS4 and Xbox.
