Awesome video, I used to live in Chattanooga and have been over the bridges you have shown on excursions. Interesting and informative narration! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It was a lot of fun to make. I wish I could spend more time in Chattanooga. It really has a lot to offer.

The interesting thing about South Fork is that the Cumberland and New river bridges were rebuilt similarly around the same time.

And it might not be obvious, but big line relocations bracket High Bridge, circa 1930. Including a bypass of Tunnel No. 1 of 27!

a bit ironic that the Chatanooga to Cincinnati NS line that's known as the rat line due to all the tunnels it originally had has so many major bridges too!! the lift bridge in Chatanooga was struck by lightning 10 to 15 years back and the head house on the one tower burnt, they said the coast guard did a study and found the river traffic had enough clearance with it down so they didn't repair the bridge! that construction is new barge locks!! the gondola train you thought was empty wasn't (if you look close you can see slabs in some of the gondolas!) that's the train ironically known as the gondola train, it's at least a weekly out of the middle part of Ohio that hauls steel slabs to a rolling mill down below the Dabutts yard, now which mill and where it is?? the bridge at Kenenova and crossing the Mississippi might be of interest for drone footage.

I remember hitting a cow just south of High Bridge in the 70's.

Oh wow! That sounds like it would be an awful mess.
