x8s and the xTs hands check because we block more of villains flushes that we beat, so we try to gain some bluff ev by checking ?

Hi, nice contet, about the x with K8 Q8, I think it's becasue we block pair + draw like 78 etc, so when we bet OTT for value we want 8x in our opp hand.

1:50 Isnt a bit redundant to check in gtowiz, when your opponent is playing that high of a vpip. The value region is probably WAY more Ax than the normal, since he can flat ATo mb even worse Ax, and he can flat offsuits Jx broadways too i guess, and he probably has full freq of all the pocket pairs on top of that, and he has more gutshots (on the turn) But everything you're saying is correct of course, just thought i'd shime in and help a little (cos ur so cool)
@YolanCohenPoker4 ай бұрын
@@ImDrizzt no it's still a good to understand how it works. I know the opponent obviously doesn't have the same range. I think checking is actually better here, the opponent is agressive enough to iver bluff river. And i can still get money from an Ax by raising small otr
Well done 🎉 Actually yes, holding an 8 blocks calls and Qs unblock them. It's a factor more important than the unblocker of flushes factor. I didn't take this into consideration ingame so I would have make a frec mistake, which is marginal but still a mistake.

Merci pour la video, tres intéressant. Peut etre checkons nous plus nos flushs qui contiennent un 8 car nous bloquons sa calling range notamment ses straights?

At 3:23 you said there are a few other regulars you dont play against because they are a lot better than you… can you name them and specifically WHY do you think they are better than you? What is their edge over you ? Thank you, great video! Gl at the tables!
@YolanCohenPoker4 ай бұрын
I was speaking specifically HU. 6max I would say it's players who understand dynamics better/theory better/ understand my deviations faster. Also players ahead of me technically. And players playing since a longer time. It's only my 5 years as pro and 7 years in poker. It's not that much compared to others. For example Luuk/Llinus/Laddev are better. Linus is way better.
