Suggestion: Heavy loaded trucks or even smaller one with heavy load also should be traversing the right slow lane portion to prevent them from going too fast which could endanger other vehicles who are also traveling normally fast along a faster lane. Safety first is the name of the game in all aspects to avoid accidents, or even life.

Sobrang trapic sa NLEX-balintawak exit kagabi (29Dec2016) dahil sa congestion sa Balintawak Market, walang pakilaam ginawang parking lot ang edsa-balintawak hiway. Palagay ko panahon na yan tangalin at ilipat sa ibang lugar. It is stupid to put a big market just across a major hiway like edsa-balintawak, its an issue waiting to happen at panahon na para ilipat yan sa ibang lugar kung saan mayron itong ample space for parking space.

I hope they build infrastructure which includes the aesthetic values. It has to be appealing to the eyes not just a mere structure. Just like what they do in Qatar, every structures are done with good architectural designs. Also practice good maintenance not only in all government properties but in private properties as well. This is what we are lacking in to make a conducive environment Cleaner environment and well-maintained facilities will promote tourism that generates income and jobs. Who would dare visit an un-appealing and dirty place? Not the tourist? Are you?

Private corporation naman daw ang may ari nyan. Kaya hindi magandang investment daw ng bayan yan, at gumastos pa daw ng public funds sa project na yan. Kaya nga daw may toll gate fees, at yung bayad na yun is to maintain while under contract sa private corporation.

The government is broke, and cannot function its infrastructures. So the needs of fundings for maintenance. Due to the fact the government is broke, and that taxing the population is not anymore conventional. So the resolution is to allow global and multi national corporation to bid on such needed infrastructure, agency, properties, and so on. Whoever got the bidding is the new stakeholders, and have the most assets are the one can switch whatever that needs changes, and public voting has no chance the outcome of the process. Because their assets and property are sold to the highest bidder under the new corporate stakeholders!

The government is broke due to failures from successive administration all the way to Aquino. It's good that development in infrastructure is being done but at what cost to the Filipino people? These should have been government-sponsored projects to begin with. It's true though that this whole video is not even close to an engineering marvel as one would suggest. Due to its corrupt administration of the past the country is way behind when it comes to highway infrastructures from other developing nations in Asia. Duterte is maybe the hope that the country is waiting for, he needs to clean up the house!

Sharing: Noong hindi pa nagsanib-puwersa ang SCTEX at NLEX sa Easytrip, I thought it was unfair for Easytag users to be delayed with checking-in at the Sta. Ines tollgate, kaya sumabay ako sa mga non-easytaggers na dire-diretso lang sa pagpasok sa NLEX. They don't need a ticket, kasi BY DEFAULT, a lost ticket means that you will pay the whole length from the FIRST ENTRY POINT (in this case, Sta. Ines). How convenient, di ba? So kung magbabayad ka sa CASH booth, let's say, sa SAN FERNANDO exit you will pay the amount corresponding to having a Sta. Ines ENTRY TICKET. Right? Kahit mag-EC tag exit ka, RIGHT? (ILLOGICALLY) Wrong. Kapag di ka nag-check-in sa EC tag gate, tapos sa EC tag gate ka lumabas, aba'y hindi lang ang Sta. Ines to San Fernando (Southbound) ang ikakaltas sa balance mo, pati Balintawak to Sta. Ines (Northbound)! ANG LAKING KALOKOHAN, DI BA?!!! Hindi talaga ako maka-move-on sa experience kong iyan.

One thing to notice sa mga road system natin. Ang daling ma bura yung dividing line sa mga lanes. Tapos ang mga concrete sa road at sa mga barriers ang pangit ng texture. Kabago bago pa lang na road, parang napaka dirty na ang texture ng concrete sa road at sa mga concrete barrier. Tingnan nyo ang video ng mga bagong roads sa ibang bansa, ang gaganda pagkagawa at ang ganda yung texture ng concrete at road system nila. Talagang quality ang pagkagawa nila. Pero sa ating kabago bago pa lang, mukhang dirty na at napaka chaotic pa ang design at feel ng mga roads. Do a better job naman.

+Earl Gates It's about quality. Other countries are much better and has a higher standard in the way they construct their infrastructure like roads than the Philippines. California, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, etc. they get rains too and their road system are much better than the Philippines and in the middle east, specially the oil rich countries, they have money and that translate to better quality construction for their roads. I don't agree that the countries you've mention that their road infrastructure wasn't any different than ours. In fact, according to an article I've read before, our country lag behind our ASEAN neighbors in infrastructure and quality of infrastructure, and way behind the more developed countries of the world.

Can you identify other tactical and strategic solutions on the daily traffic situation on the Balintawak entry point? Since the early 2000's, the traffic volume there even on off peak hours has been worsening. The Mindanao / Valenzuela exit did not do any help, so does this project probably.

The road building is not an engineering mavel. More difficult road and bridges has been build by other countries. Getting the right of way is the big issue in the PH.

stop bastardizing the word "innovation"..those you claim to have innovated in your projects are standards. Parang gumawa ka ng bahay then sasabihin mong innovation mo ang poste at bintana. You can have said your projects are up to the level of world class standards by using crash crumple zones, rumble strips, turn out etc.
