On my visit last month I was struck with how well the old buildings and new build work together in sympathy. Looks great. Wish our sheds were anything like yours!

Will the Boston Lodge and Workshop Tours be wheelchair accessible?

Boston Lodge is a large working engineering site with many rail lines, points and historic turntables along with frequent rail and road movements. Consequently it has not been possible to make the site wheelchair friendly for tours. Visitors on tour groups will need to be able to walk without assistance and manage stepping over rails and up and down steps. Where new offices have been created in No 2 Boston Lodge, disabled access has been provided.
