I've got admit, for a while I liked NMIXX as people and performers much more than I liked their music, which didn't really vibe with me. That's definitely changing, though. 4:40 The small hammer concentrates the force better. 😜 6:50 Indeed Lily (I think that was her voice we're talking about), and also leader Haewon (with the short shaggy dark hair) are the two main vocalists in NMIXX. Bae (with the lighter short hair) is also standing out to me quite a bit; they've got some brilliant jazzy vocals all round, but she's really popping for me. And yeah, Lily's the blonde, and she is indeed an Aussie. "Friends with Bang Chan" isn't really a hard sell, though, 'cause he's _basically_ friends with everyone in the business. 😜 Lily's livestreams are also absolutely _hilarious,_ because she just goes off on these stream-of-consciousness rants, and frequently says things she _probably_ shouldn't... 🤣 10:20 Also, Everyone sitting in the middle of the road and not getting run over. This feels like a weekend in Hongdae... there's no way this would work unless you've shut down all the traffic.

1:45 You are half-right :) The name NMIXX combines the letter "N", which stands for "now", "new", "next", and the unknown "n", and the word "mix", which symbolizes combination and diversity, altogether meaning "the best combination for a new era". NSWER is an acronym for North, South, East, West, and Route, meaning that NMIXX will find the “route” and the “answer”, together with their fans. 6:27 They are all vocalists :P But yeah, I love Bae's singing; especially in the last album she really shined. Main vocalists are Haewon and Lily though. (6:53 Yes, one of them is called Lily. :P And, indeed, an Australian.) But this is a group where even the worst vocalist among them is still a very good singer. 9:31 This is indeed what they do. But it is not their whole thing :) For example, LMLT doesn't really have a change-up. Many fans were very upset about that, actually. "Are they changing their concept?!?" 11:59 That's actually a quote. The whole MV is showing a prison break, I believe as a metaphor for going for what you want, ignoring the obstacles. If they want to mixx it up, they are going to mixx it up (and if they don't, they won't); they don't want to be put into a box, and if you try, they will break out. The quote is from Papillon, a 1973 movie showing the titular character's life on a brutal prison island he was wrongly sentenced to, and all the punishments he was subjected to, that nevertheless failed to break him. As he floats away from the hell he suffered into the open sea, he yells this phrase in defiance - he might die, but at least he would be free. He did, in fact, live through the ordeal, and wrote the autobiography the movie was based on.

Personally, Nmixx is the female version of SKZ. Hear me out, I am not talking about their sounds. I am referring to the direction of their sounds. Both want to create their "own" sounds in Kpop, and they end up not being like from the beginning. It took a while for the appreciation to come in.
