Learn how to play Chess the right way from beginner to master level. National Master Robert Ramirez will take you up the pyramid by following a proven Chess training program he has been improving and implementing for over 10 years.
Benefits of Playing Chess:
- Promotes brain growth
- Increases problem-solving skills
- It exercises both sides of the brain
- Raises your IQ
- Sparks your creativity
- Teaches planning and foresight
- Teaches patience and concentration
- Optimizes memory improvement
- Improves recovery from stroke or disability
- Helps treat ADHD
Chess is an intellectual battle where players are exposed to numerous mental processes such as analysis, attention to detail, synthesis, concentration, planning and foresight. Psychological factors are also present on and off the board; playing Chess stimulates our imagination and creativity. Every single move a player makes is the result of a deep analysis based on the elements presented on the battlefield.
Chess in its essence teaches us psychological, sociological and even moral values. In a Chess game, both players start with the same amount of material and time. The fact that the white pieces move first is considered to be practically irrelevant -especially because a player typically plays one game as white and one game as black. Consequently, the final result of the battle solely depends on each player. It doesn’t matter if you win by taking advantage of your opponent’s mistakes or by simply avoiding mistakes yourself. Truth is that Chess is an extremely individual sport and our defeats can only be blamed on ourselves and no one else. And this, in the end, only benefits us because we learn to be and feel responsible for our actions and never come up with excuses to justify ourselves.
We also learn that when it comes to our victories on the board, our opponent's mistakes play a more significant role than our own skills. Let’s not forget that a Chess game without any mistakes would be a draw. This way, Chess provides us with another valuable life lesson: be humble at all times.
About National Master Robert Ramirez:

I played the Pirc once in my life, in 1970 in the last round of my first tournament. I managed to beat a 1550 rated player: I had little idea what I was doing, but he had no idea how to play against it. By the time of my second tournament, I switched to the Sicilian, later to the Caro-Kann, back to the Sicilian, and lately to the French. None have been completely satisfying. You have inspired me to go back to the Pirc.

I see you get these 90+ accuracy against strong players that's impressive. Always value in what you show. The Pirc is my go to opening when I just want to play solid and play chess and eliminate any opening tricks my opponents have. I'm not that strong but at least I feel I have a chance to games and I have fun.

Coach.. Today in my college, there was a selection for the inter-college tournament. I registered for the same I've never played a game on the board. I play only on lichess. Before the selection, I brutally checkedmate my friend (on the website). Coincidentally, he was my opponent in the selection game. I was playing on the board for the first time. My vision on the board was very poor. He blundered his queen. I couldn't take advantage of that. This was 5 hours ago. I'm feeling really low. I've been playing chess for more than a year. All of my friends are shocked. They are saying, "Is there anyone who can play better than Aftab?" They put faith in me. And I lost that

Coach plz reply to me on this, m a new player I learn Czech pirc from u, then I reached to lesson 69 in 3 days I found the pirc more advanced like all classical, Austrian and 150. I have 2 questions on it, 1) can the pirc of g6 pawn work on every start of white ? 2) is this pirc the best method to learn for black .. furthermore m working on the start just I want to ask what should I do to learn the best opening for black and also the best opening for white so that I can memorize to play against the intermediate players.. plz reply !!

Coach, i have a question. i have been a patron for about 6 months, but i have gotten wayyyy behind on the videos? Why? Because every time a new opening is introduced, I've assumed i must learn it in depth before moving on... Too anal-retentive an approach, eh? ))))) Can u help me with a better strategy? thanks.
@NMRobertRamirez
@NMRobertRamirez Жыл бұрын
Hey Daren! Every time we learn a new opening, I expect you to get familiarized with it to expand your horizons, but you don't have to incorporate it to your main repertoire. Remember that openings are not as important as middle and endgame. So, only study it to depth if you really like it and want to add it to your arsenal. Otherwise, appreciate the main ideas and keep moving 💪😎
