Hi, The FTG SPA wagons were identified at the time they were originally introduced as having issues with these couplings. IIRC some people replaced the couplings & others eased these out a few mm & super glued them in their new position. Hope that helps.

you got some nice stuff there, as for the extra close coupling i'm shocked they sold them like that in the first place, you will have to replace them with slightly longer ones

Wow, does FTG not test their protects before putting them out? How do you miss that? The red ore hopper is very sharp- nicely detailed, especially for a fiver. A couple other nice pick-ups, as well, but those FTGs would annoy me to no end. I agree about the oversized box, too. Waste of resources.

Hmmm. Very unusual. Usually its a case of the gap being huge cus of overlong couplings! This is a first on me......they couldnt have tested them.

The FTG, Kernow and EFE models are all the same wagon so issues will be identical.
