@@Erysea I mean they ARE Japanese so... and you'd use water to clean the utensils either way, so there's not much of a difference, they're just being more meticulous! Also, I think they reuse some of the bowls for mixing ingredients in which a majority were made of glass, not plastic lol

I’ve tried this. Overall it is a very good recipe, thank you! Input: the biscuits has to be combined with some melted butter so that they will stick better, otherwise it will just crumbling all over. The matcha gelatin on top is rather bitter, so probably better to use less matcha powder (but if you like matcha a loy, i think it is fine)

The only expensive ingredient is matcha, but you can easily find some affordable/cheap brands off amazon (or even in stores) that you can use for these recipes. Expensive high quality matcha is a waste if you use it for a simple homemade cake where its flavour is milded by the other ingredients.

@@jipsoop not where i live. baking white chocolate is about 5-6x the price of dark chocolate, cream cheese is about 8-9 dollars, heavy cream is about 5 bucks a pack, matcha is close to 13-14 dollars. for that price, i could buy a small matcha cheese cake for less than 6 dollars.
