I don't think people realize the hours, years it takes to build something that nice. When they say it was their grandfather, dad, uncle then they got it. They building on them memories of working in the yard on the dirt. That's the pride of where they came from and who they became

I don’t know how tight the wire is in the tubing , but sometimes you can get a piece of string and tie it to the wiring and and blow it through the tubing with air and then tug it through.

You can lube the wires with Iso Alcohol to make them pull through conduits easier. Then it flashes off shortly after work is done.

Question: Love watching! I never had anything chromed, no do I know where to go in my area, but how much does it cost to chrome one tube? tubbing?

Sucks you guys don’t do installs anymore. I just went into hoppos and got a list of installers but I don’t trust them. I wanted to pay since I didn’t have much time to do it, but guess I’m throwing the hydros on myself lol backyard boogie time.

Easier to get some 0.20 thou aircraft safety wire and heat shrink to wire and walla pull it thru! and why you waiting for optimas lots of other bats on the market might even think to switch to nicad. Nice work thou another time saver might be to metal stamp all your parts before shipping out to chrome draw a small schematic with all # and part locations, these systems lot more complex then the setups we put together in the late 70s.

What are the tanks for with the valves on the front and top? they look like air ride tanks? is that just for more fluid capacity or is it something to do with ride quality??
