I guess right cause i think this ghost so normally (maybe..)​ doesn't have any special even it's hunt. I didn't play this game but sometimes i watched and focus at ghost's action. If you can cut some ghost out, i can guess it easier. But it doesn't right everytime. ps. I guess right in your clip so many time.

Playing with friends is definitely the way to go. Me and my friends have been playing for the last few nights and we went from huddling together and staying near the van to fully going alone on asylum (except me because my sense of direction is complete garbage and I get lost)

Spirits often walk faster when you're on low sanity, something I noticed playing with friends and this is what makes it hard to tell whether it's a spirit or a revenant.

So with revenants, if you break LoS they basically stop moving completely. The journal says that they move slowly when you hide. They become almost completely still. You could have discerned that it was a spirit when you could still hear it walking around after you hid. I've seen one hunting from outside the house. It went after the two people still inside and it just stood on the stairs after they turned the corner into another room.

Ok so crazy thing that happened to me while playing, we were in the high school and the only area we were getting any activity was the upper hallway by the staircase and all we got was a slightly lower temperature nothing else then a few minutes in it starts hunting every 30 seconds and is extremely agressive so we assumed it would be one of the more aggressive spirits or really a demon at that point but we still keep checking for any evidence and we try to find the room that it’s in but we got no signs of activity in a single one of the rooms we even used the IV on the doors it touched and the light switches that it definitely messed with but nothing so we figured it wasn’t fingerprints at that point and we put everything in the hall where it was cold and where it would spawn while hunting, no spirit box, no writing, no orbs, and the temperature never went to freezing So then one of my teammates got killed by it and it had been an hour at that point so we just went with our instinct and said demon,,,,,,,,,,, It was a poltergeist,,,,,,, there was never a single object thrown even when I asked it to and none of the evidence showed up😑 I’m still mad about that one cause that ended up being our last game before we all got too pissed off to play anymore.

Something similar happened with me, but with a jinn. I entered the house solo with a thermo, opened one of the bedrooms and the motherfucker literally appeared in front of me, like 30 seconds after i entered the house (amateur). So i thought, this gotta be the room right? Except there's no change in temperature, and not a single room or hallway in the whole house got under 13° even once. I put my stuff in said room, ghost whispered again, it got super aggressive with lights and doors, didn't get a single evidence other than EMF 5. Had to guess, figured it was an oni due to its aggressiveness and how early it appeared. Nope, Jinn.

Well actually lights run because they are connected to powerplants. Powerplants run off of batteries. Sure they run off of fossil fuels, but for the intial startup, or after a shutdown, they have to be restarted, which uses battery power, and they can also run off the batteries exclusively for a few hours. The more you know.

Also the voodoo dolls you take a photo of and they come up as an interaction. If you throw them they kind of tweak out. Told they are trying to go to the ghost room but haven't really tested it. They can mess with your sanity though.

@Insym - I agree the ghost was moving fast, but isn't Rev supposed to slow down AS SOON there is no line-of-sight of the player he chase? If yes, that ghost totally sprinted after you hid in that room. Just pointing that out.

I enjoy the challenges because I am not brave enough to do them xD it is educational, i am also trying to figure out what type of ghost it is with little evidence. but again i had an aggressive shade or a mare who didn't turn off the lights so it can happen.

The lights were something I wasn’t sure about. Does the candle count as a light source for preventing Mare attacks and helping retain sanity? The big reason I suggested this was for a mix-up. No Evidence lets you use tools, but an inactive ghost really kills the fun for me. That’s part of why I thought of traditional methods of ghost hunting, because it was more back and forth as opposed to controlled by one side (ghost or human). I just got bored and wondered “what is a good theme for allowing a little evidence to give chat something more than ‘are you sure it’s not X?’”

i used with my firends in some rounds nothing, just a candle. We wanted to get the ghost without any "tricks" just by the behaivor of the ghost and we got him sometimes. Way more fun to play

Spirits are the worst to identify imo because they steal traits from every other ghosts types. I think they sounded fast when they were hunting you because they spawned right next to you. A revenant would've probably killed you before you had time to close the door.
