I swear one of the most comfortable patriots season I have ever witnessed in a while, except the super bowl ofc, I knew since we got everyone back, this time healthy this season, we were easily winning it all that season, and they kept showing a brady call snap where he is pointing, it was a nice nostalgic animation with cool music playing in the background at the end of every highlights of NFL games on youtube, they even knew we were winning it all too

As a diehard Pats fan, I remember going into this game thinking we were going to get our shit pushed in and just having a permanent grin on my face all of the next day. I kept thinking I hope we at best go 2-2 this four game stretch and we ended up going 3-1, it was unreal. By far my favorite Patriots season ever.

They were 3rd in offense and 1st in defense, which we saw the importance of in that Super Bowl when they pitched a shutout in the final 23 minutes (Falcons were the 8th highest scoring offense of all time) while scoring on every drive. That team was loaded.

Jimmy G has had such an up and down career in many ways. First he was viewed as the successor to Brady in NE to the point that the Pats almost traded Brady to SF to now being the constantly questioned starter in....SF. I think he's a pretty good QB all things considered but like anyone associated with Brady that association is going to be a part of any narrative surrounding his career.

I swear if Garoppolo wasnt injury prone, and Bill started him over Tom the rest of that season, Jimmy would have won multiple Super Bowls with tge Pats himself. He was a perfect fit for them, but Tom also brought us to 3 more Super Bowls after this, so it's kind of a lost thought. Say Gom fell off though, and the Pats got rid of Jimmy, id always be wondering "what if".
