That bluegill is known as a “copper nose bluegill” it is a subspecies of the normal bluegill. The copper nose bluegill is only native to the southern United States

Good old bobber with a lightwire hook. Can use a white or plumb colored worm with proline nightcrawler. Drench the soft plastic worm with proline nightcrawler let it soak a few minutes. Enjoy the surroundings watch for activity as proline soaks in for a few. Don't forget to put 2 to 3 smaller splitshots to be able to cast bobber and set up.

Holy cheese balls. That thumbnail gave me huge dejavu my guy. Looks exactly like this flea market I went to a a little little child and I bought this hess tuck that was like 20 bucks and I loved the thing lol. Idk why I remeber that but I do. And that reminded me so much like it. It was a isle just like that and everything had dust on it.

@FirstStateFishing if the water temperature was cooler you should've fished a slower action lure , fish dont bite fast action lures in colder water, they dont feed as often, slower action can entice them

1:59 Lead weights are basically free to the sellers, my local tackle store collects old car batteries and they'll melt it down and cast weights out of it, aside from an afternoon's work, basically free. And they're always expensive, except this store is a little cheaper than the others so they get my business lol
@JA-pm4pu
@JA-pm4pu 2 жыл бұрын
My grandfather used to make his own and I've got cans and cans of them. Tried to sell them to a tackle shop and no luck because they get them basically free like you said, tried to sell them online but the cost of shipping makes it not worth it.
@chickenpotpie4045
@chickenpotpie4045 2 жыл бұрын
@@JA-pm4pu Oh that's cool bro, I wish I had cans of weights lying around lol I went deep dropping a couple times, and the weirdest feeling in fishing is tossing a pound of lead over the side of the boat, only to feel it literally floating away in the current. We had to pack up and move to another spot because none of us had rods that could handle more than 1lb of weights comfortably.
