I so get that - We used to spend a lot of money on Christmas gifts as well! I just posted a video yesterday talking about this - kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJvLnaOXq9aIf80 In a nutshell, we disassociated Christmas and birthdays with receiving gifts. We talk a lot with our children about the true meaning of Christmas and birthdays (Jesus' birth celebration and their birth celebration) ❤
