You make farming look so easy and effortless, definitely going to adopt your “no dig” process for establishing a garden in what I call my riverbed. Battle to grow anything because the syringe tree roots are so matted and intertwined it chokes everything.. the no dig way may be the solution. Thank you for posting these posts. I love them and find them very useful.

The tree roots will most likely invade your no dig garden if you dont do something about the them. Experiment, learn, and grow.

@@TheDutchFarmer Yes I imagine its pretty hectic at the moment. I am on track to live the dream myself, hoping to get going next November when I move home to Ireland. Got a wee house and about an acre of good land surrounded by peat bogs and a small fir tree forest. I read your PDF booklet and it was the catalyst that set the chain of events in motion to get back to the life I always knew satisfied me most. FlowersandElastic JWhitevintage less than an acre! Start small and expand, you will bite off more than you can chew. Especially if you haven’t ever farmed, you need to just start a garden using Moreno’s techniques as he’s graciously shared, and if you really like it you’ll be selling it in no time and looking to expand.
