in 🔔 we typically leave the 5950 high top flat brimmed. The 5950 low pro's get a slight taper (my favs) and the 3930's, dad hats and stretch fits need a good curve because it's a looser fit. Dope hat & travel case bro.

If you have a iron that has a steam option as well. Use the steam to soften up the seal on your bill. Then after it gets soft, you can start to mold the bill how you like. Or use a yeti cup or something cylinder shaped of your preference and wrap your bill around that for 30 seconds.

@@Thedeathdumpsteam softens it so that it holds the shape when cooling down. It works both ways but you have to leave the hat that way over night for good results when it’s dry. With steam you can leave it for 5-20 min while it cools and the shape will remain so it’s much faster.

I like how these days people act like the 5950 is some classic high brow hat. When I was a kid we just bought these, wore the hell out of the them mowing lawns and then threw them away after a year or two. They were made out of wool then and with out the stupid new era or MLB logos on there. They were a lot cheaper. About 12 bucks and made in USA. Still love 5950s and wish I hadn't tossed out my old ripped up hats. I just bought another 5950 and took the new era logo off. It pisses me off

9FORTY isn’t fitted so there’s that. Could go the 3930 route but you lose the MLB logo on back in most cases for the team logo or name. The best hats for me are the 5950 Low Profile. Especially once steam hits that bill.

It’s up to you but it makes the brim more flexible and flimsy so you can curve it and then goes back to normal after it really helps getting a nice curve though and makes it almost impossible to crack brims
