I am a locksmith and love all these mods @ $80.00 a pop for a regular lockout on regular business hours. Not to mention cars like the 1st one that are frameless windows those are more expensive and risk breaking the glass when trying to pry open.

this is a pretty cool concept, but its not very secure. If someone wanted to break in im sure they would touch the window just by looking in the car for anything valuable, and the one with the motion sensor on the mirror, that could pop open if someone walked too close to it. maybe theres a remote to disable the doors when your away, but then why not just have a button on the remote like normal, this is really cool but not too practical, but I guess these $150,000 plus cars arent supposed to be

If a similar invisible keypad lock could be made this would be viable as a car security feature, however in this case you are not only inviting an accidental door opening on a highway, but also inviting a carjacking.

it's real for sure. It's called shaving your handles and it isn't used for normal cars. And if you had any brains you would consider the fact that the person modifying their car like this would think hey what if someone touches my car and they just get in and drive away. well they would put in secruity measures such as a RFID.

Won't happen...The brain box is connected to the start switch of the car so it knows when the car is running and won't allow power to the relays which power the solenoids which pop the doors open

Dirty D yes you can still lock your car if you have your alarm control, you can easily lock it and even if they touch it to open the door it won't open it will pull to open the door but it won't open because the door it's lock it's like you trying to open your car when it's locked you can pull the handle but the door won't open because it's locked

I love how everyone thinks the doors will magically open from wind, random people running into them or whatever. Do your doors open when you pull the handle and the door is still locked? The door wont open unless you hit the unlock button on your remote and hit the hidden switch. Its a touch screen layer you place anywhere and it does one thing... opens doors. Its not going to kill you by touching and it wont activate from wind or rain. That being said if your battery dies you're fucked.
