Although I am still touched and amazed by the Mother Nature, the first time experience will last forever. There are so many things to discover in the Alps. Since you are a rock hound , Rocky Mountain should also be a great place for you ?! There are a lot to discover in the US too. I personally like US a lot too. 😊

I recently got back from a trip to Switzerland. The land of no drama seems about right. "It's too perfect" is a joke that Swiss people seem to agree with. One thing missing from this ad: lakes! They're everywhere, and they're are gorgeous. Lakes + mountains + cute towns = beauty overload. If you don't like this place, don't go anywhere near me.

I was in Bern. There was drama as a 20 year old was steeling a bag from an 92 year old lady in the mall. Then 2 minutes later he came back, and gave it back to her because he felt guilty. Switzerland, when even the bad guys are good. pretty amazing. Anyways I am sure this commercial is for the Americans, all of us in europe knows that switzerland looks stunning :)

I've lived in Switzerland twice for a few years each time, I even speak swiss german. This is clever marketing and very entertaining. I certainly hope it jumpstarts Swiss tourism because it has definitely taken a hit, just like everywhere else. For potential travellers, speaking from years of living as a local I didn't find Switzerland any more expensive than any other major city I've visited/lived in. In fact, in many ways I found it less expensive. Yes, that's right, contrary to what the general populous might assume. Getting back to the video, I've never been a big tennis fan and Roger Federer has been a name that I recognize but couldn't really place a face on. I could've walked into him without a second thought. This campaign is going to do a lot of good for Roger's brand, and hopefully his country will benefit from that too.

The funny part is that it's true. I lived in Zurich for 3 years. I hugely appreciated the sense of safety, organization and cleanliness. But that comes with a price. Impossible to make true friends (except for party buddies), impossibile to see or feel emotions in those people. Everything is perfect, but few people are happy. I moved out, back to the World.

Rent is one of the biggest expenses and my experience is that Manhattan is much higher than say Zurich. As far as skiing goes -if you compare like for like - checking a resort like aspen has much higher prices than LAAX / Verbier, etc. All in all my point is, both are up there and quite expensive. Which is more than the other... you can cherry-pick to make your case. :)

As an American living in Switzerland, no drama is wonderful for this family! Kids are safe and have more independence, no mass shootings in schools or anywhere else, great healthcare, efficient public transportation, high standard of living, clean air, people are committed to recycling and implementing measures to fight climate change, we can travel easily, AND the flag is a big plus! LOL In my twenties I lived in San Francisco and Los Angeles - way more exciting but boring, drama-less Switzerland is a great place to raise a family. (Only complaints are lack of diversity and high cost of living.)

I went to antalya turkey four years ago. It was a cheap holiday but i didn’t like. There are many dramas, abusive men, imposters and many more. I don’t recommend you to have a holiday in turkey.
