(English)
Creamy Greek Yogurt Cake
Ingredients:
Greek yogurt 500g
sugar 125g(If you like less sugar, you can make 80g)
egg x4 (room temperature)
cornstarch 40g
Instructions:
1. Mix Greek yogurt and sugar(you can adjust according to your preferred sweetness)
2. Add 4 whole eggs into the yogurt mixture. The eggs must at room temperature. Mix it well.
3. Sift the cornstarch to the mixture.
4. Prepare a baking pan. Crumple the parchment paper. Grease the pan with melted butter. Place the paper, then grease the paper too.
5. Pour the batter. Take out the bubbles on the surface if it has.
6.Bake in a preheated oven at 170C for 45mins.
7. Let it cool down.
8. Sprinkle top with icing sugar before serving for better taste.

做法:
1. 將希臘乳酪和糖混合(可以根據自己喜歡的甜度調整)
2. 在酸奶混合物中加入 4 個全蛋。 雞蛋必須在室溫下。 攪拌均勻。
3. 將玉米澱粉篩入混合物中。
4.準備一個烤盤。 把焗紙弄皺。 用融化的牛油潤滑平底鍋。 放置焗紙後,再在紙張上塗抹牛油。
5.倒入麵糊。 如果有氣泡,請取出表面上的氣泡。
6.放入預熱好的烤箱170度烤45分鐘。
7. 讓它冷卻。
8. 食用前撒上糖霜,味道更佳。

Yes, you can bake a cake without baking paper. There are a few alternative methods you can use to prevent the cake from sticking to the pan. Greasing the pan with butter or oil and then dusting it with flour is a common method. Have a nice day. 😚😚😚

@@yuyukitchen Thanks for your reply! I know what you meant. I was having an idea to drizzle some raw honey over it when eating because would like to preserve the nutrients of the honey. I’m also contemplating to try substituting maple syrup in it, do you think it will change the consistency/ texture of the cake?

Absolutely nothing wrong with cornstarch especially if your gluten-free and I buy non gmo cornstarch. This desert is low fat and excellent thank you !

The reason it works is because parchment paper usually comes in a tightly-wound roll. It prevents to roll back up on itself. By crumpling it up into a ball and then flattening it out, the paper loses its curl making it much more malleable. Thanks for asking, have a nice weekend ❤🎉😊

@yuyukitchen Hello, I do bake a lot, and i enjoy it. I really liked the texture of the cake. I added some lemon zest to boost the flavor. However, it took a long time to bake: 1hr and 15' 🤔. We have it as a cold dessert . It's tasty. Thank you for sharing 🙏
