Did you notice that Deku's "Danger Sense" kicked in when Aoyama was about to attack him, while in the previous season when his friends tried to stop him, he mentions that "Danger Sense" isn't detecting his friends, as their intent was not to hurt him? Man, that's some writing and poor Aoyama.

In Manga, that Hagakure shot was chapter's cliffhanger. So everyone had to wait a week before the actual traitor reveal. I remember everyone started doomposting about how Hagakure reveal was soo obvious and writing fell off. It was a crazy week lol.

It was suspected from the beginning of the series that if there was a spy among the students, it was either Aoyama or Hakagure. I remember reading this misleading story with great excitement as the answer that finally came.

I find Aoyama's parents' motivation so deep too. They were born rich and never wanted for anything, but then their son was born quirkless, and they despaired because they didn't know how to handle their child being without something. So they did everything they could to absolve their child of all his abnormality so he would never have to suffer. As Aoyama said, he suspects his parents cared more about his quirklessness than he did. Of course, they had a right to worry cause we know how shitty quirkless people are treated, but I still think it's an interesting commentary on parents who (coming from a place of genuine love and care for their child) try to force them to conform to societal standards "for their own good" and end up causing their child more pain in the process than if they just accepted their kid's differences, you know?

That was a great and emotional episode! Fun fact: Before it was Yuga, many people, even manga readers suggest that Hakagure was the traitor. Because one of the reasons is that she suggests that Class-1A should go to the mall. And this is where Deku confronted Shigaraki. So, when 3:10 showed up, we all thought it was actually true. But no, it was actually a bait! But wow! Great reaction man!

Deku and Aoyama are completely the opposite in terms of their names. ・"Midori" meaning green "Ao" meaning blue (there's a Japanese saying implying blue is superior to green) ・"ya" meaning valley "yama" meaning mountain ・"Deku" meaning useless "Yuga" meaning elegance

I’m just gonna say it, Aoyama doesn’t deserve to be imprisoned for this. He’s a kid who was forced into a situation where he had the choice of doing what he was told or dying with his parents. I know there’s consequences and stuff, but like, I’m with Midoriya here. Good on the class for sticking up for their friend!

there was this one instance in the training camp arc where Aoyama makes eye contact with Dabi from behind the bushes and Dabi sees him but doesn't do anything to him. It was a big giveaway that Aoyama was the traitor.

It's incredible how we probably thought the worst of whoever was the traitor, one would think about how evil they are or about how can they lie to Class A and the Heroes and straight out call them a villain, but now that we know who the traitor is and why he did all he did you can't help but to feel sad for him. He's just a teenager who never asked to be in this situation, his parents made a deal with the devil and now he ended up in the middle of things. Aoyama deserves better.

Spoilers Fun fact: It's been theorizes that the reason why Aoyama brought up Uraraka's crush on Deku in season 3 is because he tried to self-sabotage himself so that he didn't have to go to the training camp and put his classmates in danger. Something that likely would have gotten him killed if he had succeeded. Basically, he tried to kill himself in an attempt not to endanger his friends, but he failed.

So apparently the manga hinted at a hagakure tease. But for me i got that also from the intro with that shot of her being slightly visible. I had to stop and go back, which then got me thinking how easily it COULD have been her. Imagine spending your whole life invisible, and then someone offers you the ability to be seen for the first time in your life! I wasn't 100% certain it was her, but i definitely could see how it was possible.

Aoyama's name is the exact opposite of Midoriya's. Blue and green, mountains and valleys, I don't understand it in English, but Izuku and grace have opposite meanings in Japanese.

I was spoiled for this cause of course i was, both Yuga's betrayal and Hagakure's reveal. I do believe that Aoyama's reasoning was valid. We've seen with Deku how miserable life can be to people without quirks. And his parents just wanted the best for him and unknowingly dug themselves into an inescapable hole. He should face some repercussions for his actions, but he's in no way a villain. All he wanted was to protect his family who wanted a good life for him.

They did a good job missleading us first. Then it was such a plottwist that Aoyama was the ''traitor'' all the time. But Hakagure would have been possible too since her quirk makes her invisible so it would have been easy to her to sneak out every time and inform All for One about everything basically. But this was even better cause no one rly was expecting Aoyama even that he was a bit ''weird'' since season 1. If i remember good even Kaminari was suspected(by fans) that maybe ''he is'' the traitor of UA. Poor Aoyama and his family dealed with the wrong person i can understand that they wanted Aoyama just to be happy like most of the parents just want give their child what they need to have a better life. Damn you All for One for using people like this. But anyway, can't wait the next episodes !

I honestly feel ayoyama isn’t gonna get redeemed. It’s sad because it’s really his parents fault for getting the quirk despite their love it wasn’t smart to go to all for one. Many people died because of him, but I also feel bad since he did save tokoyami in the camp and tried to save bakugo too. I just wonder how the villians never saw that? Because his parents said if they tried to stop they would die, but ayoyama got away with doing that at the camp.
