Hello Katrina l like the Spark Leggings however I do not wear leggings but my daughter is a hiker-biker & outdoorsy person and has asked me to make her some but up till now I didn’t have a pattern and now I will - Thank you! The zippered pocket is a clever idea and very nice! Your explanation of the patterns you sew is so in detail, clear and easy to understand -Thank you for that - very cute leggings! Happy Sewing! Thank you for that really helpful comparison chart. It’s quite hard to make comparisons when looking at individual patterns. And saves you buying too many. Your info is always the best! 👏👏

I made these shorts March 2024. This video was incredibly helpful and I have learnt things from this video that I can also apply to other projects. Thanks so much! Will be following your Cargo Pants video next :) xx

At 10:30 in this video, you mention another video inserting a vertical zipper in a waistband. Can you tell me what video you show this? I would like to know how you added a zipper in the pocket panel. Thank you

You are a great teacher. Thanks for explaining things so well. I don't wear legging at age 68. But I may have to try this for my very active daughter.

Thanks for the sizing chart. I saw a number of designs I liked but couldn't find the charts.

They are listed at the end of all the photos if you click through on all the patterns. There is a size chart and a fabric requirement chart right at the end :)

Exactly what I was looking for, had to make a dance costume smaller and shorten body, the crotch had to be refit and the tip about stretching to avoid bunching was spot on...thankyou 😊

Love your videos and ordered two patterns through your affiliate link! You might be a bad influence on me.😁 Your explanations and the "sew personal" segments are very helpful. I look forward to every one of your videos.

Thank for this video, just bought the pattern 🥰do you think these leggins can be sewn with only the serger flatlock stitch? or would it be better to use the regular serger stitch?
@LiftingPinsandNeedles2 жыл бұрын
I can’t comment because I’ve never used the flacklock stitch. I’m reluctant to use it for fear it won’t cope with the stress …. The garment is very much smaller than our body.

I love that cowl neck top you have on. What is it?
@LiftingPinsandNeedles3 жыл бұрын
It’s a very very old RTW top that my mother in law got me. I’ve always wanted to clone it. It’s the only top that matched the leggings and it’s not even a workout top 😀

Could you share the pattern info for the blue cowl neck you wearing in this video? ❤
@LiftingPinsandNeedles2 жыл бұрын
It’s a RTW top I thrifted years ago. No pattern for it.

Love you videos. How would one shorten the crotch rise in these? Especially if the front and back are different amounts.
@LiftingPinsandNeedles3 жыл бұрын
The rise options are in the waistband in this pattern. I would not overthink it. If I wanted to shorten the front I’d take a wedge from the Center front to nothing on the side seam and then straighten the front again so it can be on the fold. Again, I would not do this as a first options because it’s likely that they will fit fine with the waistband rise options.
