I'm really speechless right now because I'm starting to feel as if anime piano music is like the best if not better than classical music because there's not just emotions, and din amicus in there, there's actually meaning towards it and expresses way May character than classical music in my opinion. Please Ishter kun can you tell us how you started playing piano and got into playing and arranging anime music cause I'm soo curious to know soo much about your music life and that you have such outstanding talent. preacher of nothing I know Chopin's romantic, but how could you not mention him? I like Beethoven, but Chopin's works are full of so much more emotion. Listen to his four Ballades. I've never found any composer who can portray emotion as much as Chopin did.

***** EDIT: I can't believe I didn't write this, but there's a much more useful tool for transcribing pieces: melodic and harmonic dictations. However, these are best done with a teacher, since you'll really need the feedback (especially in the beginning - otherwise you have a very small chance of succeeding on your own). You'll probably find a teacher with a group that work on that in a conservatory/music school near you. END EDIT. ORIGINAL COMMENT: Sorry I'm not Ishter (don't be racist! Wait, since Ishter isn't a race but a human, does that make you a humanist? :)), but here's some advice: If you can't read from sheets, or have difficulty's in reading them, then you should address that first. Try playing, even if extremely slowly, straight from the sheets. That's an extremely important step. As to transcribing by ear, there's something you can do: study intervals. Between every two notes there's an interval, i.e. how many half steps are between them (Between C and E it's 4, between A and G it's 10, between E and G# it's 4 and so on). By practicing 10 minutes (at least) every day, you should be able to naturally recognize the intervals between all notes within one year. How does this help you? Well, in music there are different diatonic scales, as you probably know, but they all follow the same intervals (2-2-1-2-2-2-1). All you've got to do to notate by ear is to put down a first note, whatever it may be, and then, recognizing by ear what the interval to the next note is, put the next note. It doesn't matter if it ends up not being the same (in another scale), as long as the intervals are the same it will sound just right. You can correct the scale if it bothers you once you're done. Of course, these ear-intervals-practice are also used to recognize the intervals between simultaneously played notes, so you can transcribe EVERYTHING. So how about it? Are you up to the challenge? I honestly dont wanna look like the bad guy, i really dont... Tehishter really made a huge impact on my life and made me realize that piano is life lol. And about his patreon page, i really would love to donate a few dollars but being an 17 year old, i dont own any debit cards or paypal accs to allow me to do so. I also dont have my parents permission to just send money through their card (which i understand completely) ive played many of his music and his music is what got to play how i play today, i dont want this to be like my life story soo, basically playing his music made me a better pianist. I've read ur "about" page on youtube the first time i subscribed to you. I remember how you want to inspire beginners ( like myself back then) to play piano, yea yes, you inspired me soo much that want to take music classes in college. Good cover. In the actual ending, I don't know if it's just me, but it gives me an uneasy feeling when I hear it.
