No. Piano's are non electrical. They're all acoustic. Keyboards are electrical. There's a difference in how they're played in that keyboards don't have a large range of "loudness". It's much harder to get emotions on keyboards than on pianos.

Nah, I think this is fine as a standalone short story. It's so short and sweet, and that's why it was so impactful. Giving it an anime series or even just a movie will reduce that impact :/

Sorry to boost about this but I was able to play the beginning part by ear not the low notes but the main right hand notes (0:00-0:05 this part) after hearing and listening to Porter Robinson’s actual video but couldn’t figure out 0:05-0:25 until I watched this video and looked at his fingers pressing those keys and I’m amazed by my little progress by playing by ear and that I was able to play the main part or melody of the anime songs. I’m glad I was able to play some songs and anime songs by ear cause it gives out these all these emotions and I want to express that kinda by playing the piano I could express it in words or singing but sometimes I do piano cause it has that big music feel while still being able to express the feelings it’s trying to show and it does that really well.

U know what? in the past i heard this song but i didnt let it much care but, yesterday while listening a mix a song appeared. That song was not even related with what i was listening to but, there it was. Started to hear some japanese vocals and my attention was granted, started to see the video and OMG. One of the best short anime films i have ever seen, and the next day i see again this video but this time knowing that this great masterpiece was from that film.
